PF Campaign setting Monks

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Quick question...

In the Pathfinder Campaign Setting book, there is the Bich’hwa and Temple Sword that are treated as a monk's special weapon. Do these weapons also get added to their list of proficient weapons?

Liberty's Edge

I noticed that too when I saw it on the monk pregen equipment list in an adventure path. I think they are on the monk list for the campaign setting itself as a campaign world ammendment

That is kind of what I'm thinking also... But I figured I'd get a little input on it too.

Thanks for the reply.

No. You need to train using them. If you do, you get to use them as a monk weapon.

I agree; the bich'hwa and temple sword would require a feat to use. Of course, adding them to the monk proficiency list would probably be harmless (especially the bich'hwa), although the temple sword is better than every other weapon (IMO).

Gamer Geek says the PF campaign setting was originally published by Paizo for 3.5. ISWG is the correct version for PFRPG.
