True story: if you call the Paizo offices and ask to speak with Gary, personally, he is legally obligated to tell you whether or not you won. He also has an obligation to listen to a story of your choice about a character you once played and how awesome said character was.

you laugh, but I've actually seen server meltdowns. it's not a pretty sight.
we had a fire in the electrial room once. God that was ugly...but mainframe just kept chugging right along. we blew out one board (which was easy to replace) and that was it. The unix servers were fine too, even the Sun boxen.
The NT machines tho....they did not like the surge.

I never did before this. Now... I have discovered what impatience feels like (okay not quite true, I were always impatient for examinators to give the grade and exams... it's kind of similar isn't it?)
