Is it just me, or does Erik Mona look like a bloodthirsty viking?

He looks way to happy in that picture for what he is eating.

A fair amount of Paizo staff is from the Midwest, land of Scandinavian expats...so, I am not surprised at the Mono-eyed one's unsatiable thirst for all things White Castle. :P

Even more so here.

Paizo Employee Director of Sales

...I'm still sad I missed out on the White Castle trip.

This...is...Whitecastle!!!

I can't get the passion for White Castles, I tell you. Corporate is right here in Columbus and having a parent working for them for 10+ years, I wouldn't be missing out if I ate another again. :P

I agree, no hamburger should ever have holes in it. :P

Oh I get the crave, being from the midwest myself. I just thankfully rarely have it. Because my memory of how good they are, is always better than the real thing.

It's a lot like drinking way to much alcohol. After time and the memory fades it seems like it was a lot more fun and you forget the downsides.

So I do a whities run about twice a year. I just hope I never look that happy getting them.

Hmmm ... he did enjoy the heck out of that Scandinavian (or was it Finnish) Metal during the after hours music challenge ...

Down here in NC, the closest thing we have is Krystal ... and Krystal Sliders are not nearly as good as White Castle burgers.

If there's one thing I've learned, it's that if you're craving White Castle, the burgers here just don't cut it. In fact, just thinking about those tender little White Castle burgers with those little, itty-bitty grilled onions that just explode in your mouth like flavor crystals every time you bite into one... just makes me want to burn this mother****** down. Come on, Pookie, let's burn this mother****** down! Come on, Pookie! Let's burn it, Pookie! Let's burn this mother****** down! Let's burn it down! Let's burn it!

So you guys maybe should just suck it up and go to White Castle.

We do have Waffle House instead for 24 hour eats in the South. Too bad DC doesn't have any in the metropolitan area. *grumble*

More like a Gene Wilder/Dr. Frankenstein to me.

Going to white castles is like going to a big-*** party. Its fun while you're there, but you pay for it the next day...

I still go once a week, usually before gaming.

Except that you said that after Mr. Mona made that statement.

So, Erik Mona, as a good game designer/publisher prevented your exploit.

Except that Mr. Mona made no stipulation as to when that statement is in effect or not. Are you saying that we're gonna need an errata release for this thread?

Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum! Well done Mr Jack, well done.

There's a greyhound/amtrak station just catti-corner to that White Castles (assuming that's a GenCon pic). Not sure how many times I've had people waiting on a bus/train ask me for a buck to get a sandwich while I'm walking to my car or the Subway down the street...
