Kthulhu - That'd be a great idea, but unfortunately I haven't learned to do layers yet. To be honest, I'm self-taught at using Acrobat and Illustrator, but if you know how to do this I'm all ears! I'm a player/GM that wanted to have something that wasn't out there yet. I'm still trying to get faster and more proficient with my skills, and anyone advice on using the system would be appreciated. I may go looking for online tutorials later too. Thanks for the suggestion! ;)
Kabump - These are excellent observations, and I will try to impliment them as they are somethingI initially missed and would like to remedy. If you look on the "front page - portrait - alternative setup summary" there is the new armor box I'm wanting to be standard on all the sheets with a max dex box. I didn't have the melee/ranged/other (monk), but I would like to try to work this in.
I've been labeling the sheets, I added the HP box to the leveling sheet that Ryan of 3.5 Private Sanctuaries asked for, and I'm also going to combine the psionic sheet so there is just one pathfinder sheet. I like the idea of having layers so that 3.5 or older PF builds can use this too.
Thanks again for the ideas guys! There is a could more goodies I will be working on this month, now that the AGP is locked in, I will be changing the sheet slightly to adapt to those classes changes. Also, I'm wanting to add a sheet for custom monster building.
I talked to the guy that did FF d20 and said I am going to do a free Final Fantasy Pathfinder later this year if I can do so without getting sued. I need to check with some sources on this first. I'd like to involve square-enix to do this like Dragon Age, but I gotta get all these tools done first! :D

That armor box is exactly what I was looking for, I missed that because I like the solitary sheet for my everyday use. Im one who likes to always see the math involved with my calculations. Glad to hear you are looking into the attack bonus, if you could move the armor stat block to the solitary and work in the attack bonus boxes, i will have ZERO nitpicks with your awesome, awesome sheet. Thanks for being so awesome about listening to feedback!

Kthulhu - I actually have bought a few of the 0one blueprint maps, good stuff! I'm not sure what program they use, but I get exactly what you're taling about. The only other thing I would have to know is if I can use forms in layers and autocalculation. It's the end goal for the sheets, but I may even contact James the Bard at one point and ask him about this. Here's to hoping!
Kabump - Certainly! One of my players has used the solitary the whole time and has been nudging me to tweak it a little. Thanks for the praise, I appreciate it greatly. It's great customer feedback that made/makes this sheet awesome in the first place, I tried to emphasis this by taking the names from the development phase and putting them in the credits. So thanks again for the feedback! :D
Strongblade - Agreed. ;)

Well so far I got no more feedback for you. I mean other than vague feelings I don't got nothing. I have a couple of idea's but nothing that I can see working yet and the others I have shown it to have no complaints or wants.
BTW you do plan to make a post saying the sheet has been updated each time it has yes? Just checking to be sure.

Absolutely! In fact, I put up a facebook page as well. There's not much action going on there, but I figured why not.
Oh, and I have made sure that the page with the fillable stuff will be saveable, I know there was an issue there, but it's been handled. I've been thinking about splitting the files it individual chapter pdfs so that they can be saved if desired for the form fills. Good/bad idea?

I think it would be a good idea, especially for the retypeable one.

Would anyone else like to have the skill lines clarified? I'm making a few changes that will remove a couple of the redundant pages, and bring the others up to speed. I was thinking if the skills had lines of some sort, like every fifth or fourth line, it would be easier when building. Thoughts?
Personally I like the way that they differentiate tables. Three lines normal, three lines with grey background, three lines normal, three lines with a grey background. Lines I think would just get confusing. But definitely adding something to break up that big block of text called skills so I know exactly what skill I'm writing my ranks in would be good.

Three shadowed on and three shadowed off sounds good. I'll give this a try. I was building half elf and writing in the skill bonus to perception and noticed if there isn't something to break it up, it blurs together. I wouldn't want it to be one-off-one-on as it wouldn't solve the issue, but three's perfect. Thanks!

I think what might work better if you go this route is every other skill. White, grey, white, grey etc. I know Iron Crown did that with their spacemaster and rolemaster sheets (which have huge skill lists) and that helped a ton.

Eh, I personally think that makes it too busy.

Thanks for the great feedback. I tried thwm both and it seems the triple lines won out with my playtesting group. They said it helped to be able to "skip down three grey blocks" to find the skill. I thought they both looked excellent and appreciate it.
I was working on the "solitary front page [portrait]" when I wrote this. The BAB totals were a bit trickier, I put three down so the monk or whatever future class that came around could get some love. Also, psionic skills are on all sheets now. With the amount of material emerging it seemed right, but also, it seemed redundant to have an identical page for 5 seperate skills.
I hope no one is peaved on this, but it just takes a line through the skills to elimiate them. There are still 4 empty blank slots on top of that.
What took a hit? I had to take away from the ammo amounts 3 slots and one weapon slot. Also, the HP box shortened and I moved the damage redux up there.
Any comments? I apologize for the wait. I only hope the changes are worth the wait... ;)

I know many people have asked when the update is coming, and my response is it will be before the 14th. I'm working as quickly as acrobat will let me, but as undeadlord pointed out, many of you are waiting for forms and I'm making sure pages begin to include this right away. I've chopped a could redundant pages, and will be adding a session card at one point to use for a player each session instead of wearing out the sheet as much.

Just a quick question... which pages do you feel are most redundant? I don't mean whole sets, but for example, there are 5 copies of each inventory pages... which would you eliminate from these? I've notice upon adding the forms that each finished form page is approx 1MB each, before even autocalc. So I'd like to keep every useful page and trim a bit off the excess, this way the file size won't be in the 80MBs and I can add more stuff. Thanks all!

Well I am going to bed in a few but i will give it a look tomorrow if I remember and give you my honest opinion.
Have you considering breaking it up into a couple of files in one zip file?
Many thanks Dark Mistress! A great suggestion, however I had been playing with Winzip and 7zip and even on max strength it's not making a significant dent in file size. (One page from 788K to 731K on ultra 7z for instance.) Granted, I only have a few pages form fillable so far, after this release on the 14th I want to make those autocalc ASAP.
I took the non-psionic pages and just used the psionics (as they can be lined out). I'm thinking the biggest excess is in inventory. I look forward to your feedback tomorrow....

Some exciting news, my friend who is assisting my with tackling the auto-calculation helped me set up the first auto-calulating page. It's not done yet, but I've learned a great deal about setting these things up. More news on this soon!
Also, the entire adventurer's log is now fillable for both landscape and portrait. I'm playing with the buttons functions and there will be the ability on these to export a finished page to a seperate file. I'm hoping to do this for all the sheets as they complete so you (the end user) can make files for each character you use. :D

You know I was looking thru the thing for pages you could drop and I noticed no page numbers. Which made me start to wonder how I would tell you which ones. I mean I suppose I could just list the pdf page number. Though to be fair going threw it once I found it hard to pick some pages. i think there is a couple you could drop. But I almost have the feeling as soon as you drop one someone will ask for it back. :)
I am still leaning towards maybe just do several files inside of a zip. I know that doesn't help with size but it would help with people more easily finding what they want. Like all the landscape in one file, all the fillable in another file, etc.
Cause honestly to me the size is not a big issue. I guess it might be for those poor people still on dial up.

Ah, yes... the bookmarks WERE the way to tell, but each page is getting labeled. I will be putting the files into 4 pdfs in a zip file:
- The fillable/autocalc pages
- The fillable Adventure Log / Campaign Journal
- The Portrait Oriented Sheets
- The Landscape Oriented Sheets
The only pages I have removed has been a couple of the inventory sheets and front pages (non-psionic). Thanks for the feedback. I will be submitting the update by the end of the night. I'm still trying to squeeze in some last minute tweaks.
Wicked K Games
Cool I think that might be your best bet is to just have several files in a zip. Then you can keep more pages yet make things easier to find and use for everyone. Look forward to the update.
I did place the file in the zip, but with all the little things I've been trying to work on, I didn't have time to split it up this update, other than the Custom Sheet, the Autocal Sheet, and the Regular sheets.
I sent the update off just now to be refreshed, so the file 3.14.10 should be available as soon as it posts. If you've gotten the new file, please post and let me know, thanks!

DLing it now. It is up at Drivethru now, I didn't get a email letting me know though. I just went and checked on my own.
Hmmm... IDK why, I got an email from RPGnow.com stating it had been updated. Thanks for informing me, I know that it works different somehow for different users. Sometimes I get it and others don't and visa versa. Hope you find the chances to your liking!

I recieved the e-mail. I check in on this thread periodically to keep up anyway, but the e-mail certainly prompted an immediate down load. Thanks again for a great product that just keeps getting better.

Kabump: Thanks! I'm going to be adding features like autocalculating size modifiers and containers that track how much are in them. The sheets stick a bit for some reason. I was disappointed that there are features I wanted to add that would only be available with Acrobat. :p
Dark_Mistress: Thank you! That would be awesome. I made sure the customizable sheet was savable, sorry this feature wasn't enable last time.
R_Chance: You're very welcome! I appreciate you letting me know and I'll keep the updates coming!

Can't hurt and I am sure some people would comment.
Awesome... that's enough for me! ;)
Here is the link to the Spell Card Development Thread... ideas welcome!
Wicked K Games
Is there somewhere that I can see a preview of these? The RPGNow site does not have one.
There is a link on the other thread to the image... :) I went ahead and linked it up HERE. Thanks!

Might not be a bad idea. maybe the simplest sheet and a couple of the half sheets. Then a list of all the other sheets that is in the main one.
I sent Louis an email asking him what he thought about this. I should hear back from him pretty soon, he's usually really good about following up.
Btw I keep forgeting but I did finally put in a review over at Drivethru and later today or tomorrow I plan to do one over at ENworld.
That would be awesome! I never wanna come across ass pushy when it comes to reviews, but honestly, I really love it when they're written! I've been trying to get better about reviewing and putting more pen to ink (digitally of course) myself. I buy a lot of pdfs and read over a lot of stuff when I'm not working on my own stuff. Lately I've been full steam ahead trying to get the spell cards and summon cards out, but after the new cards release, I have some great ideas forthe next update and all the forms will finish being fillable with more autocalc features. :D
Wicked K Games
EDIT: Never mind, I'm an idiot. Latest Reader update works fine...
I just bought it at DriveThruRPG and downloaded it twice, and Acrobat keeps saying it's broken and won't open. :(
Hope you're enjoying it and find it useful. If you have any suggestions or ideas, I'm open to them here. Currently I'm trying to finish up the spell cards project before the end of may. As soon as that's done I'll be putting out an decent update ofr the character sheets. :D
