It's looking like CF is getting the prize for most romantic gamer. With Urizen in second.
scratches CF behind the ear :)
Now if I could get the wife to give me a trip to PaizoCon...

Oh vey! Don't tell my woman that. She'll have expectations. LOL

;-) Think I've already failed a Bluff check. She was asking me why I was wasting so much time on the old computer yesterday. The lady has a high Sense Motive. I'm doomed. :(

That could get awkward.

Nothing says 'Happy 25th' like a threesome.

There's another kind? <raises eyebrow> <gets popcorn>

That could get awkward. Nothing says 'Happy 25th' like a threesome. At Emperor's age that might just kill him. ;)

** spoiler omitted ** When in doubt, bring the Viagra.
Hey, if Hef can have a three some or more some with his blue pills and his bevy of blondes, there's hope for us.
And a long nap afterwards. :P
wow I think this read has jumped tracks big time.
You sound so surprised. ;)
Is it time to smurf this thread? :)
Emperor7 -- many congrats to you and the missus. Did you get everything you needed out of this thread? I'm late in the offering.
You need to offer something romantic that tops mine. I can't have these rumors about me. :D
Urizen wrote: You need to offer something romantic that tops mine. I can't have these rumors about me. :D We could start one that you are friends with Sebastian. Oh wait, no one would believe Sebastian has a friend.

Thx - Always open for new ideas but the photo DVD/album is the top runner, and a bit time consuming. I've created a hidden folder for the scans to hide in. Hotel is just a matter of choice now.
Then there's the big trip this summer. The wife wants to go out West. PaizoCon is out west, right? ;)
A hotel in the area for the trip out West?
Mairkurion {tm} wrote: A hotel in the area for the trip out West? The mini getaway this month is easy. The regular vacation this summer is tougher. The wife hopes to go out west. Not sure what she means by that. Grand Canyon/Hoover Dam, Yellowstone, etc. We'll likely bring our 15 yo daughter and maybe my soon-to-be 20 yr old son. The older ones likely wouldn't be able to get time off work, though she'd love to make this a Brady Bunch vacation.
We've never travelled out that way. I'd hate to plan something and we get stuck in the hotel 'cause it's 110 degrees outside.
Okay, so you have a hotel for the mini-getaway. I think I only stayed in a hotel in the western US once: San Fran when I was a kid and wouldn't notice something like the hotel we stayed in. If it's a Brady Bunch vacation and its not camping or resorting, maybe go to one of those affordable suite hotels so you can have a kitchen, etc. I got nothin'.
Of course, if you want to make it more romantic, go to a place where the kids can be independent--you can see them when you want, but they're taken care of. There, I injected some romance.

LOL. Thx.
Crimson Jester wrote: wow I think this read has jumped tracks big time. I already got the lose 40 pounds, which would lower me to 160 at 5'10. A little too much. Lose 20 and tone up - good.
Viagra made its way into the discussion.
Now, I'm waiting for the 'get your back waxed, so the wife doesn't mistake you for sasquatch'. Hey, teddy bears are fuzzy aren't they?
;)
I believe -
Trying to surprise my wife is impossible. GRRRR!
Is she like mine? She's a nosy girl who goes looking for surprises.

I put something like that on FB, but sadly, no one seems to have discovered it yet.
Mairkurion {tm} wrote: Is she like mine? She's a nosy girl who goes looking for surprises. I'm on the old computer in the bsmt (someting I rarely do anymore since we got a laptop), going thru the last 7 yrs of digital photos, and she's like 'what are you doing down there?' Followed by 'trying to find pictures of us in love?' She figured it out. 29 yrs together makes it near impossible to be sneaky. Now I'll just have to wow her with quality. *sigh*
Those sneaksy womenfolk. Mine tries to find my hiding places. Happily, she's short and in the new place there are shelves she even has trouble accessing with the ladder. Ha-ha!

Yep, I'm Captain Fail.
Now to twist this around and make her feel guilty. PaizoCon should be suitable compensense.
Or, maybe CF e-mailed her and was like 'this was all my idea'. Sneaky poodles. That's how they take over the furniture.

;-) BLERK!
Dogged out by a poodle. Shoulda seen that coming.
At least that explains the Hero supplement in the closet. ;)
In my angst I think I've derailed my own thread.
Is it too late to strike the Bliss from the title. '25 years of Continually Being Outsmarted By My Wife' seems more on par. ;P

Anything I can help you with?
Emperor7 wrote: '25 years of Continually Being Outsmarted By My Wife' seems more on par. ;P It's not easy being the slower member of the species.
Time to see if I have any favors at work. The wife is a Lucy fanatic. If I can start the slideshow with a modified 'I Love Lucy' graphic segment she'll cry like a baby. Slip her name in there instead of Lucy. Yeah, that might work. Ba ba loo!
