That would be an awesome weapon.
My gaming group never noticed you needed items to be +1 before you could add other enchants to it.
I read that line in the Pathfinder Beta and was like "Wait a second...is that new?" looked back in the DMG and was blown away that it had always been there.

Not a big deal. People love to argue over points brought up in threads despite the question being answered ^ _^ Plus if you keep the post around other people can see the question and learn the answer before it comes up themselves.
