Less than 24 hours to go!

If you haven't submitted yet, YOU SHOULD!

Reminder, don't wait until the LAST HOUR, you don't want lag or some other problem to cause you to miss participating this year!

And good luck! :)

Dark Archive Star Voter Season 6, Star Voter Season 9

Have to say less worried about the 24 hours left...(already submitted my item *fingers crossed*). The 19 day wait is going to be more stressful. :)

Damn... and here I'd "Almost" managed to forget about that.

Legendary Games, Necromancer Games

I'm with Sean, you should submit for sure! Take a swing, what do you have to lose? Nothing. If you are worried about not making the cut, guess what--no one even needs to know you entered. Then, if you make it, you are the man! (or woman!).

Tell those voices that are telling you not to submit to shut the heck up! There is always room for another good item. And this community is full of great creative people who can deliver. So take a shot!

If we don't make the cut is there a way to look at the feedback from the judges?

No, but Clark has volunteered to critique items in a separate thread like he did last year.

Last year Clark went WAY beyond the line of duty and tried to respond in one thread to people's requests for feedback. I tried to do so, but fell behind. This year, I plan on saving all of my comments so I can look them up if asked, rather than re-analyzing the submission. Clark may be volunteering to post his comments as well.

Wes... Wes loves Twizzlers.

Cheers guys for the speedy replies. Good luck to everyone.

I would still like feedback on last year's item ;>

Awesome. I particularly would like to see your comments on my item when its time.

I got some valuable (if brutal--but I asked for it, to be fair) comments from Clark last year. It helped me immensely in designing my item for this year's contest. I don't think I have much of a chance, but, what the heck, it doesn't hurt to enter, and I hope I can get some more advice if my item is rejected.

Less than 24 h. to scrutinize my item. Sigh.

Good luck everyone!

Dude. Sean posted that almost 24 hours ago. You've got a lot less than 24 hours to review it now (assuming you haven't submitted yet).

Thanks in advance. Even if I don't get through, I think getting a feel for the judges' opinions would be really valuable and I look forward to it.

Two and a half hours to be specific. The deadline is 2 PM Pacific - another fine example of the value of giving the FAQ another look.

And the value of keeping time differences in mind.

That's my fear for Vlad. He's definitely in a different timezone.

It worried me as well, I'm 8 hours ahead of PST. That's one reason I submitted well in advance!

Exactly. Vlad's posting out of Bulgaria. So he's way around the globe from Seattle.

Hah, I'm aware of that. :) I worded it wrong in my previous post. I love the pressure though, so I'll review it one last time.

Edit: Woah, guys! I have the *real* deadline in mind. Paizo calculates the time remaining according to the timezone you set in your profile, it isn't really confusing at all!

Good to hear - though I could imagine that a fair number of people would be more than happy not to have to compete with a former top 16, because he failed to submit an item in time.

But in the spirit of this contest, I actually just want as many cool items entering as possible.

And thus I gambled with the fates again, and just submitted.

Cue dramatic music and all!

I pity the fool who posts a new thread stating that he missed the deadline.

That's what the "Kvetching" thread is for.
