When I received my latest large shipment, the enclosed order form had two stickers: a star with one of its five arms missing and a little cartoon figure.

Do they serve some purpose, other than to make me feel jolly?

The kitten serves no purpose other than to make you feel happy. I happened to have some at my desk when I was fixing up your order. The star on the other hand has proved a useful tool. It has powerfully dark connotations and the less you know about it, the better.

Spoiler:
The star just lets the warehouse team know that it is an order that customer service has worked on. It has actually proved highly useful, however, Cosmo doesn't like having to use shiny stars so we are looking into alternative sticker solutions.

Well, the kitten did its job.

Regarding the opproborious and spoilerized issue, when I began teaching, my friends gave me enough "attaboy"-little stickers to last my entire classroom career and give sheets and sheets to any grandkids I might have.

I recommend Carson-Delosa or Trend. Surely Seattle must have a teacher suply store?

As soon as I find a place to get Mr. Yuk stickers in bulk, I'll have this sticker issue resolved. :)
