Knocked Up.
I can handle horror. I can handle messed up pr0n maneuvers. But there is this one scene I can't bear to watch every time. *shudder*

Awesome movie! I think my favorite is still Happy Gilmore.
Biggest abomination? Little Nicky.

Happy Gilmore is good, but I never saw Little Nicky. That and Don't Mess with Zohan or whatever.

Haven't seen the Zohan movie either. But Little Nicky? I won't even bother owning it. I don't think I can ever revisit it after seeing it in the theater when it first came out. What a waste of rock star icons.
But I will say this -- Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore makes a great romcom couple. Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates I both enjoyed.

When I lived in NY/NJ, I was pretty disappointed in the pizza, as a rule. I think I'd be happy in Chicago, but of course a Texan invented their pizza...

The Thing from Beyond the Edge |

Good PFRPG game last night.
My character and another pc died. :(
So, we each came back as a member of the church (the only church...) so that we could instantly re-enter and bring information to send us on the next leg.
I came back as a paladin named Arik Sparhawk. I wanted my character to have black armor but with the colors of the church being white and gold it was determined that it would not be allowed. So, Sparhawk came in with armor so polished that it looked like chrome...
The pc halfling bard cast the (Tasha's?) laughing spell on my paladin as he arrived and got off his horse. Of course, despite Sparhawk having ridiculously good saves as a paladin, I rolled a natural 2 and failed. :( That type of rolling again and again had a lot to do with why my other character had died earlier in the evening...
The DM decided that our dwarf pc's human step-sister (NPC) fighter took a liking to my character and decided to get him drunk but my character decided to limit it to 3 drinks. It was a good thing because she paid the barkeep extra to double up on my drinks. Then when the dwarf pc showed up annoyed that his sister was being hit upon by Sparhawk (actually the other way around...), my character decided the best way to fix the situation was to buy the dwarf some ale and thus passing the limit I had set for my character. I roll a "1" on my fort save to see how well he handles the alcohol, Sparhawk passed out, and the human step-sister (a fighter) packed Sparhawk upstairs to her room. There, she stripped him down and tied him to the bed to use as a bargaining chip in "getting some" although that wasn't actually necessary.
Of course that started endless joking about my character at the table regarding who ended up being the "man" in the situation.
Moving on...
Later, the other new po from the church read the letter given to him recalling the party back to its service service. Realizing he would be caught without a way out, one player decided his character would reach over to shake my hand upon being recalled and cast the light spell upon my chrome looking armor in hopes of creating a diversion to esacape.
It worked. Sparhawk took a swing at the pc, missed, and the spell was not disrupted. The touch attack was successful and the chrome armor was lit up. The DM decided that it was quite a dazzling display.
Now comes the actions of a funny pc.
This pc is a fighter sorceror with an intelligence of 7. The player has created a very young child-like personna to go with this character. Anyone remember Apache Chief from the JLA? When this pc enters battle he says "EE Nuk Chuk" or whatever it was that Apache Chief said and then casts enlarge person on himself and wades in to fight and wrestle with the enemy... So, the player decided that the dazzling display caught him off guard and thus he just started swinging about wildly.
Three PCs exited in the confusion. Sparhawk went out and found one before returning.
When he returned, the halfling bard pc was playing music in the tavern and the player told me to roll a saving throw. I failed with another natural "1" and Sparhawk proceeded to stand there fascinated. :(
Then, the bard tried a suggestion: (with respect to the two PCs that Sparhawk was still looking for) "those are not the two that you are looking for..." Fortunately I rolled an "18" before adjustments and made that save. Thee player received some XP bonus for so deftly weaving in s Star Wars reference. :)
Out of all this, the dwarf pc who dislikes Sparhawk because the step-sister (of the dwarf) had the hots for him proceeded to refer to the paladin as "shiny butt" because of his chrome looking armor.
The nickname started to catch on. :(
We finally had another battle later and my horrendous rolling continued. I had one stretch of ten rolls in battle during the night where I rolled a one, 2 twos, 5 fours, a five, and a seven. :(
Uggh!
