I started to post "Double Hee-hee" right after that guy, but then decided it would be too jerky.

And not so subtle, but may...MAY..have been worth it. :)

Excellent! Because Bob Saget wasn't involved ... but the Tijuana Surprise about 3 minutes 30 seconds in made me a little nervous. :P

URRGH. Feeling wiped after being up for only 2 1/2 hours.

Anyone else have weird kinky dreams last night?

Um, no. And even if I did I wouldn't tell you.

There's a cure for that, you know. Your subconsciousness is telling you something.

Solnes: Glad Kellen is doing so well, and the sub possibility sounds awesome. Hopefully I won't jinx it by rooting for you.

Lynora: Glad you have a thoughtful neighbor, and sorry the cold weather is so rough on you. Hope it eases up soon.

Taig: Sorry your cold and depression are tag-teaming you. Hope you are feeling better and work gets sorted out for you. Fingers crossed for you on the SupaStah too.

Aberzombie: Hope your cold gets better soon too.

Mairkurion: Hope your teeth are feeling better.

Flash: Hope you get some rest.

Hello to the rest of the FaWTLies too. :)

Hello Ambrosia. How are you today?

Does anyone else equate Wall-E to Short Circut, Disney style?

Howdy. My cold is still hanging on, but just a minor annoyance. Anxious about getting my head shrunk Tuesday. Otherwise, ok. :)

Sorry about the cold M'dear, but the shrinking sounds fun. I went to a shrink once... poor guy had himself comitted after asking me what I was thinking. ;)

Well, I think that I got a good catch at the local used bookstore.

The History of the English Speaking People, by Winston Churchill. All four volumes, Hardbound.

The Second World War, by Winston Churchill. All six volumes, Hardbound.

The Story of Civilization, by Will and Ariel Durant. All eleven voulumes, plus the companion book, Hardbound.

The Travels of Marco Polo. Hardbound.

The Flamingo's Smile, by Stephen Jay Gould. Hardbound.

I asked if they could put the plastic coating on the covers, and they did. I have to admit, I am glad that the people at The Book Lady like me so much. Of course, they are still holing hostage my Richard Feyman books. But Joni (the owner) said that I could have them once I finished paying them off. ~sighs~ Oh well.

P.S. - All of the books are in great shape and with the plastic covering over the dust covers, they should stay in good dhape for a long time.

Sharoth, History reading is fun. Of course, intellectuals aren't supposed to admit loving Durant and Churchill, but screw those guys.

I bought Barbara Mertz's two Egyptian books from Daedalus last night.

Thanks, Ambrosia.

To myself: I want a NAP.

How good are Barbara Mertz's books?

Very readable. As to the rest, I'm not even an armchair Egyptologist, thought I did have one class and did a fair amount of Hebrew Bible--they looked good from what I could tell.

Not in the least.

Thanks. Hope Sebastians's tenticles didn't rough you up too much.

Always anxious before a shrink visit. Hopefully a different prescription that'll work better. Also the persistent nagging doubt that I'll get Baker Act'ed. :)
