This belongs in the Kingmaker forum, but there isn't one yet. So I'm posting it here!
I want to see lots of opportunity for mounted combat in Kingmaker. We haven't gotten a whole lot out of any of the other APs, this seems like a great place. Especially since you are introducing the Cavalier now. Please let's see some heavy focus towards outdoor areas and the like over dungeons.

Well... we'll be all done with Kingmaker BEFORE the finished cavalier class will even be available.
That said... Kingmaker is going to have an awful lot of outdoor stuff in it.

Also on the Kingmaker requestline, when should I begin my subscription to make sure my first issue of the subscription is the first kingmaker adventure path?
When The Twice Damned Prince (The last issue of Council of Thieves) ships and becomes the current issue for the adventure path subscription, add it to your cart and when you checkout you will be able to start your subscription from the next issue (the first of Kingmaker...)

Who needs a Cavalier for mounted combat. A fighter works great and the only real issue I've seen is replacing mounts. Even the ranger with a horse animal companion does just fine too.
Not saying the Cavalier isn't a worthy class here it just adds to the list of mounted combat classes that can already be built with the core rules.

I think request lines might be a tad late at this point. As I understand it you have to place your order when the first book of the AP that preceded it is coming out more or less at the latest as that is when full blown work on the next AP begins and adventures specs are being sent out to the writers. By the time the next AP is about to hit the stands James and the gang should really just be in mad editing mode where they are evaluating everything the writers have sent back and making corrections etc. before sending the final material off to the printers. Hence its a tad late to super impose a Jousting scene.

Given the name of the AP and its intended 'feel', it seems rather likely that there will be plenty of chances to joust (settling grudges or matters of honor or just for fun and bragging rights), engage in battles between armies (however likely it is that these armies are such only in name) and generally do the 'Keep on the Borderlands' sand-box game play. If not, it seems easy enough to insert home-brew encounters.
It may well be that there are gobs of NPCs to play with / kill and take stuff from that it is deliberately left up to the GM to decide what to do with while a 'kernel' of NPCs are delineated as 'key to the AP until X or Y time'.
We will see in short order!

I know the fourth and fifth installments of the Kingmaker AP have already been turned over to the developers. They aren't yet in the editing pipeline, though. As far as I know James and company have already wrapped up most of the first adventure. So that should give you some idea of how far out in front the authors, developers, and editors work on these things.
So, yeah...it's a getting a little late in the game to inject further requests for stuff to include. That said, considering all the stuff that's already been requested, I think you guys will be quite pleased.

I would say there is a pretty fair chance that some form of grand tournament might be happening in this AP. Not that I have any inside information on that or anything... :)

Is the grand prize a red herring by any chance? ^_^

So guys if you want to start making requests for the next AP after Kingmaker (not what kind of AP - that will already be set in stone, but the details are not) knows the time.
