So, we played a 1st level game last night and had a witch in the party. The class seemed solid in an inverse bard kinda way and we generaly liked it. One thing that popped in my head though was whether the skill points could be pushed a little more. The witch seems like a good, flexible, generalist class and I wonder if it couldn't benefit from just a few more skill points. It would allow the witch to have something of an alchemical/wilderness/lore niche and give them something fun to do out of combat. They do already lean that way due to being Int-based casters, but I still would like to have a few more skill points for them given their lack of flashiness.

I wouldnt have a problem with this, and i think it would be a nice little bump to the witch who as it stands is a little bellow average in terms of the existing casters.

The witch doesn't need more skill points, since she's an INT based caster. I would agree, however, that she needs more class skills. Bluff, diplomacy, intimidate, handle animal, survival, ride, & survival all seem like good options.
I think intimidate is on the list, and I disagree with (just my opinion) ride (to me isn't very "witchy" without a broom being in the picture [or a bed]) but I agree on the rest.
