I'm thinking cultural templates for Core Classes.

Cavalier is a natural training progression from Footman - Light Horsemen - Medium Cavalry - Knight. That is by itself a fighter or sufficiently stated Thief or Cleric with a cultural template.

They already said that they're definitely doing it as a class, so speculation like this is vain.
