I think this is the right board for this thread... if not, my apologies and please direct this thread to its appropriate home! (=
I'm wondering if anyone has developed Pathfinder aid apps for mobile phones, specifically Android (but also for iPhone and WinMo) ?
Lately I've been thinking about a basic character sheet app and possibly even a spellbook app. These would be really useful on my Android phone (HTC Hero) at the game table.
If there are such apps, can you provide links, please? If not, let me know what kinds of apps you think would be useful.
Obviously a basic character sheet is interesting but not everyone likes to abandon the pencil and paper. Would reference apps like spell books and other PFSRD material be useful in an app like that?
Has Paizo already developed or licensed some killer app that I've just missed?
Thanks!

What kind of app are we talking about here? Character sheet, SRD info, something else entirely?
Links? I can't seem to find any info on it.
No links exist yet; the app is still in early development but at this point is a character tracker with, hopefully, lots of SRD info in it eventually. No release date or further info yet, but it IS being developed.

Awesome. I'm assuming it's just in development for iPhone/iPod right now?
You've dashed my dreams of designing a killer Pathfinder app but that's okay as long as I can use it on my Hero ;)| Jason Kossowan |

This is good to know - I've been rattling the idea of creating a community project around in my head that would do something similar. Looking forward to seeing what you guys have come up with! :D
Oh, and if you needed some volunteer help on the project, drop me a line. ;)

I just got a Droid Eris, and asked roughly the same question a bit ago. There appears to be no support yet for the Android platform, but at least you can surf the paizo site from the phone.
I'm still trying to get the DL links to work so I can bring my PDF's over to my phone.
See Erik's post here it has all the information we have right now.... I think he may talk more about it in the page before, but I already spent too much time searching for it at work

Just download on your computer, plug the phone into the comp via USB, then drag and drop the PDFs to the phone.
Or, email them to yourself.

D'oh. Why didn't I think of that.

Actually i found an application for Android phone, a spell compendium for the pathfinder RPG.
It's free and i really like it.
You can find it in the Android Market, just search for "Pathfinder spell compendium".
This costs a dollar and has a bit more than spells in it, it has most the PRD plus stuff from the Adventure Paths

For iPad/iPhone; PFR, various spell books, summoner, dice tools, animal companion
PFR= pathfinder reference. Includes info from core book, apg, game mastery guide. My favorite app. Saves me From carrying my books to games and allows me to check Stuff on the go/ at work.
Various spell books= there are a few, but my favorite is called simply "spell book." it's searchable by class, level, alphabetical, and search engine
Summoner= used for summon monster spells. Very useful. so one doesn't have to do the math every time they summon.
Dice tools= what it says on the tin
Animal companion= used for creating and leveling an animal companion
