Waiting to be flamed

Round 1: Cavalier and Oracle

I was just wondering what paizos stance is with these being used in pathfinder society?
They are eventually going to be legal and from what I have seen seem no more powerful than any other class so would someone be able to play them?

Hey ask a stupid question...

Classes are not just played for power. They are played because of the fluff also, and/or what they bring to the party.

Didn't I just say there no more powerful than other class?

Yeah, its been spefically stated that these classes will be available for PFS.

Edit: Don't know why thats a stupid question or why on earth you'd expect to get flamed for it? This isn't the kind of place where you get STFU'd for asking a simple, honest question.

Though, if you would really like to be flamed, we could make that happen for you? ;D

Both the blog post releasing the classes and the playtest document state that they will be legal for PFS play during the playtest period. We should have an updated version of the Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play in the near future with details on how to do so.

I thought you were asking why would anyone play them if they are not stronger.

Now that I understand.

One of the official people already said they would be allowed. I don't remember which one it was though.

From the playtest PDF itself:

"In addition, these classes will be legal for use in
Pathfinder Society Organized Play with the release of
version 2.1 of the Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play.
This document can be downloaded for free from paizo.
com/pathfindersociety and serves as your gateway to the
exciting adventures that Paizo’s world-wide organized play
campaign has to offer. Pathfinder Society events can be
played at home, in local game stores, and at conventions
with players from around the world. Pathfinder Society’s
short adventure scenarios are perfect for playtesting the
new classes in this document."

And yet, ironically, he was kinda flamed right off the bat....

So I was looking for a quick and dirty answer without reading cover to cover.

Thanks guys for your help.
