The lowly Open / Close cantrip available to any hedge wizard is one of my favorites. My DM allows a pretty liberal interpretation of "open" to include opening, unstrapping, unfastening, unbuttoning, and uncorking.
My gnome trickster has used it to pop a critical blouse button on an overly saucy bar maid, unbuckle a belt buckle on a charging warrior's shin plate, and pop a top prematurely on a shaken bottle of mead being juggled by a street vendor.
But the single best use of the spell came in the assault on Thistletop. When the goblin king mounted his gecko and crawled Obi Wan style across the ceiling I used it to unbuckle his saddle - separating goblin from gecko!

Firestride Exhalation: Dragon Magic (a fire breath cone that you minor teleport in the area that it affects)
Lightning Leap: Complete Mage (lightning bolt with the movement along the line of effect)
Lets face it, I love playing fighter/mage types, and these spells rock.
I also played a Havoc Mage from Miniatures Handbook, and these spells were absolutely priceless.

Can we use metamagic feats?
Extended persistent suffocate, 8th level.
Target must make 12 checks. If they fail ONE, they are unconscious at 0 hit points. If they fail TWO, they are at -1 and dying. If they fail THREE (Pharasma help them), they die.
If they make all 12 checks, they're still staggered for six rounds.
This truly is evil.

That would have to be the deliciously named Enemy Hammer spell. The amusement of picking up your enemy and just slamming him into other enemies like a bowling ball is just awesome.
But the fact that size doesn't give a bonus on the save is even better! You can grab a colossal creature like the Tarrasque and totally use it to just roll over a city.

I have said this before but I will say it again. SHATTER!
No spell has ruined my plans more as a Game Master and no spell has allowed me to ruin a Game Master's Plans more then Shatter!
Want to give your Game Master a stroke? Take Craft Wand, make a Wand of Shatter, call it your Sonic Screw Driver. Then proceed to use Shatter to use every problem you can.
Locked door? blast the lock, blast the hinges, HELL Blast the door!
Enemy chasing you, shatter the ceiling to cause a cave in!
Cornered in a Building? Shatter the floor so your enemy falls through the hole, make a hole and jump down to flee, or blast a wall (and as many walls as you need to) to run away.
Do you hate traps, how about puzzles? Does your Game Master love traps and puzzles? Are you stuck in a dungeon full of puzzles, traps, and the dreaded PUZZLE TRAP? Use your Sonic Screw Driver (Wand of Shatter) to solve (BREAK) all of the puzzles and/or traps that have been placed in front of you!

Only issue I'd see is that items (floor, ceiling, and trap/puzzles included) that weigh more than 30lbs. aren't affected, nor is anything magical.
As for my favorite spell: Form of the Dragon. What's not to love about turning your pet lizard into a flying, titanic, fire breathing, monstrosity, that's ready to eat the entirety of anyone in your way :P

While the ENTIRE door could weigh more, the lock itself wouldn't, nor would the hing holding the door to the wall. So you don't target the entire door, but select a part that you can effect. Same with walls, traps, etc. You select a gear in the trap, a single iron bar in a cage, etc. GET CREATIVE!

That... doesn't work. A lock is part of the door and considered the same object if it's built into the door, so you can't use shatter on it. And you certainly can't just go 'oh I'm shatter just 30lbs of the floor'. Shatter is perfectly balanced because it's so specific due to the weight, it shouldn't ruin any GM's plans.
