HP: 8 + 4d8 ⇒ (4, 7, 3, 5) = 19 + 8 = 35

scratch the rogue idea. I just saw smilodan's fangblade class. Haha. Going for a ranger/fangblade pftiefling, with 4 levels of warrior to back it up. Not really much of a choice, all the other npc classes wouldn't fit.

Mortal Hunter would have been great for flavor, but it's 3.0. Ah well, a ranger with humanoid favored enemies would still be fun.

Spoiler:

Greehr didn't mean to. He was just hunting giant sewer rats for his next meal. But stumbling upon a horrid ritual attended by demons is not something Greehr puts in his daily calendar, if he ever uses one. And he fled as soon as his senses returned to him, happy that he got away unnoticed.

At least, he thought so.

It started as dreams, dreams of stalking a vaguely humanoid prey. Distorted whispers came and went whenever he was with company, a craving that..didn't seem to go away no matter how much Greehr ate. Of course he tried to resist. And he held out for a while.

But the symptoms grew, and within half a year, his hands were shaking, he grew feverish at the sight of any sentient being, the distorted whispers becoming forceful commands of murder and hunger, until he could not bear it anymore. In the dead of night, deep in the sewers where he first saw the ritual of demons, he killed a scavenger. A human by the feel of it.

Oh the sudden rush of euphoria as he physically felt the life of this one human drain from its body. The shakes and fever gone in an instant, and nothing remained for that one moment except the gnawing hunger that he had resisted for over half a year. And the flesh he held in his hands did look delicious...

Though satisfied and satiated, Greehr felt complete and utter shame for what he had done. But already, he knew that this one frail human, full of disease and rot even as it lived, was not enough. Idly, he thought of what an elf would taste. Or an orc, a dwarf, a changeling...and promptly did he throw up. He buried the half-eaten corpse, and as a reminder to himself, left a simple gravemarker over it.

I think I might have overdone that one...hmm..I might be heading into chaotic evil territory.
4d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 5, 5) = 17
4d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 6, 3) = 14
4d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 2, 6) = 17
4d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 6, 2) = 16
4d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 3, 3) = 13
4d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 4, 5) = 13
Here's hoping I get good rolls.

Well, I should be done with everything but the HP. This reminds me, does my first level of Warrior count as my first level for maximum HP, or does my Fighter/Barbarian level? Still, rolling them all here anyway.

1d8+2;1d8+2;1d8+2;1d8+3;1d12+4

So, either 33HP or 44HP, depending on which counts as first level.

Your first NPC level counts as first.

what traits are we allowed to use? and where do we get them?

Well, that's a shame.

Also, Raven, the Traits pdf should be in the Downloads section of your account.
