Blade and Tankard style - rules questions

Rules Questions

I am really confused by this feat. It offers three uses for the tankard:

1. As a weapon
2. To use with dirty trick
3. To drink a potion from

First option is just about the only straight forward one

General:
- what action is refilling? If it is move or standard which provokes then this style has one use for option 2 or 3 before forcing a switch to just attack (or else it is a waste of actions)

For the dirty trick :
- does this grant any benefit if you have the improved dirty trick feat. To me the answer seems like "no"
- do you need to use the entire contents of the tankard for one dirty trick
- do you get twf penalty on your CMB roll (probably a general rules question but I have never encountered this)

For the potion:
- does drinking as part of twf provoke. If so what is the point?
- if the potion needs to already be in the tankard then why would you not drink before combat and wade in? Seems a waste to do in combat

Has anyone actually made a build that can utilise this? I am not talking optimised just one that isn't really under powered. I am quite keen to play a CC themed/inspired character

Thanks

some potions are better during/after combat, like Cure/Heal line, or temporary effects your not sure is needed at start of a fight.

Unspecified, but at least a move. Once you have the Advanced version, it's a swift.

It is not specified how much of the liquid in a tankard is used up to perform a dirty trick. It may be all or it may only be a portion. Ask your GM. If the tankard is big enough, it may be possible to fill it with more than one dose of the same potion.

Yes. Even an improved dirty trick is still a standard action. The dirty trick that you can perform with Blade and Tankard style can be made as your off-hand attack in a full-attack so you're still (potentially) getting an action economy benefit.

Yes.

Action economy benefit. You could TWF, make your primary hand attack, five foot step out of your opponent's threatened area, and drink your potion as your off-hand attack.

A potion of cure does you no good if you're uninjured.

I will look into this for my Swashbucking Magus, but I have not made a build specifically for this.

You need to use the proper cup. Or two of them.

Here is a recent thread where it was discussed in depth. The ability to drink potions as an attack action can trigger alot of spells in rapid sucession. Especially if you have a party member who can make buffing liquids for no money.
