We're up to 32 submissions so far - you've still got two and a half weeks until the deadline is up!

Yeah, yeah. I know. I've got a 500-word sorcerer bloodline for you. Just wasn't sure if I'd have enough time to polish off the other two so I could meet a 1500-word sized article for you.

Urgh...a healthy BIG Wayfinder again! :D

I just sent in an article and an ad for d20pfsrd.com. I doubt the article will make it in but the ad (hopefully) will :)

Wayfinder is turning out to be the kid that grows several inches overnight. Or has a pituitary problem. :P

Should we change the name to "Weightfinder"?

I know...Booo....Hissss.

Liberty's Edge Contributor, RPG Superstar 2012

Would an article on druid spells be appropriate for Wayfinder? I would add some hooks to make it specific to Golarion, but I wanted to check. If not, I've got an idea for a "weal or woe" article.

Here's the thread where I've been developing the spells.

Thanks.

Hmm. Having got a crazy spark of an idea for something else, this time I did not make the error of pondering it, or leaving off, but got it down. I may be onto something now for a second piece of fiction, and I am checking facts for at least one possible piece of crunch.

Update:

Research indicates Paizo are likely to produce their own (doubtless superior) version of the crunch I had been considering at some point in the near future.
Looking at alternatives for crunch.

Out of curiosity, what was your original crunch concept?

I was looking into covering abyssal resistances and lesser/greater demonic boons for demonic initiates (prestige class) of the demon lords NOT covered in the 'Drow of Golarion' article in Pathfinder #15, but James Jacobs has strongly hinted such details are likely to be forthcoming in a future product: *link*

For this column, the setup will be “plot hook + a little backstory + potential resolutions.” For Wayfinder #2, these regions are Crown of the World, Irrisen, or Land of the Linnorm Kings. One sidetrek outline per submission for this column.

Pardon my ignorance, but other than the 1500-word limit, what are the guidelines for the Sidetrek? Should it include APL, stat blocks and maps?

  • Just submitted my Vermin-druid crunch submission, hope you get it and it is of some use.

  • No, just basic plot. No maps, no APL, and no stat blocks.

I'd LOVE to, but lets see what Liz says (she's the managing editor, you know).

I think Wayfinder could be also an awesome forum for all paizonians to show and share their Pathfinder love also by showing their deed, like your play.

You have my thumbs up, lets hope Liz approves.

I would have to second Hugo's thoughts. I would love to see a Pathfinder AP brought to life, in a manner of speaking.

I would love to participate, but i have too many things in stock and i wonder what i should propose :
    - Character race ?
    - Monster ?
    - Base class ?
    - Class variant ?
    - Character background ?
    - New feats ?
    - Magic variants ?

I am currently able to get some work done at home on an old Acorn Archimedes, and may get some things complete and in even if the computer repair professionals do not get the regular computer fixed by the end of the month, but it may be in ASCII format and have been prepared on a very basic text editor with no ability to properly spell & punctuation check, etc.

Okay... /* Flaunting ignorance once again */ I'm just a little confused. Is the purpose of the Sidetrek simply to give DMs adventure ideas or is there another goal in mind? Will the most promising Sidetrek be chosen to become a formally-written adventure?

The sidetrek column is basically short little adventure plots. I do not have the authority to make it a formally written adventure for the Golarion world setting.

I just noticed that the monsters are up on the PRD site! I don't have the Bestiary in my hand (or in My Downloads), yet, but I'll take a look over the next few days and try to modify that Linnorm Bloodline. I mentioned a few posts back to bring it up to speed with all three varieties of linnorms in the PRD.

Would that be a decent crunch addition to the 'zine?

As a note/fyi, I am adding the monsters into d20pfsrd.com as fast as I can. It's going to take some time to get everything re-linked properly though. Which is a great segue into me begging for more help again :)

It sounds like there's a fair number of people doing sorcerer bloodlines. I've got one. I know Larry/Larcifer is doing one. And aside from the linnorm bloodline, I believe there were at least one or two others.

At first, I was concerned I would only have the time to contribute one 500-word bloodline rather than a 1,500-word article like the suggested size Lilith indicated. I had planned on taking a stab at a couple more to round it out. But, with so many others, I don't want Wayfinder #2 to become the new Sorcerer Bloodline sourcebook. So, I'll probably just submit the one and leave it to the editors to string these bloodline writeups together into a single, cohesive article.

Expect my psionic bloodline sometime tonight, Lilith.

Neil is correct. I also have one bloodline finished, it is an Ophidian Bloodline, I talked with Neil on Facebook, and we agree to let our bloodlines be put together in a shared article. I hope to hand mine in today. Lilith please combine, with Neil's bloodline.

    Are you still accepting submissions?
And if so, are there any categories that are looking bare?

I had an idea for a 'Weal or Woe' piece, set on the Galt/Taldor border.
Or in this case, it may be a 'Woe and worse Woe'.

You have until the 31st of October to get your submissions in, but I have no idea what categories might be lighter than others. That'd be a Lilz question.

Contributor, RPG Superstar 2009, RPG Superstar Judgernaut

I believe she received a lot of fan-fiction, but hadn't yet seen very many side trek adventure articles. A few people said they turned in a "Weal and Woe" submission, but I have no idea how many.

    RPG Superstar 2012

I turned in a "Weal or Woe" submission.
