Greetings!
Since I'm new here and new to play by post, I will make this as painless as possible.
I'm looking to run a game with four players in a mostly cliche but ultimately awesome campaign I'm brewing in my head. I would like four 'classic' characters (AKA boring and cliche) to stomp some dungeons and kill some goblins and other baddies.
Requirements:
Level 1
Use this array, arranged as desired for Abilities: 16, 15, 14, 12, 11, 10
Core content from the Big Book only
Good or neutral aligned
There will be no use of Prestige Classes. Only base classes are allowed, but multiclassing is okay within those bounds.
A strong focus on party cohesion and spirited teamwork - A bit of strife and argument is expected but please don't start out at each other's throats... I would like if you work together to create a bit of a PARTY backstory but this isn't necessarily a requirement.
These guidelines are a bit strict I admit, but adherence to them is rewarded...And if you don't like my style of game, there's no need for you to join.
The setting is a homebrew using Greyhawk gods as they are pretty familiar. We shall be starting out in the major trade city of this new setting, known as the Mirror City, so I encourage a bit of creativity in your character's background. Make up a home town, home region or even just barely outline whatever you like. The more you give me to work with, the more I'll involve in the game.
Any questions or concerns let me know.

Now all we need is a... :P
Sounds good guys.. I'm at work and away from my books. Usually I rule that we get 'standard' gear/two or three weapons based on your class and 5 gp extra to start out with. If we're cool with that and no one goes crazy on 'standard' it shall stand or I will set a starting amount by the time I get home later.

Jylan Kynslayer |

Uhhh I may be supremely dense, but in which chapter would I find traits?
Also I am fine with adding one extra player as a wildcard.. As soon as I have five complete characters (first post, first served) we shall lock in and start the game.
I take it that when you say the 'Big Book' you mean Pathfinder, or are you refering to standard 3.5?

Grunhild |

OK, here's my bard (see the profile). I still need to write up a background but he's pretty much done.
The traits are an optional rule they released in the adventure path's players' guides and in this web supplement of the rpg : Pathfinder traits
Basicly they are "half a feat" based on background.

You'd be looking here: Traits. Not in the book, unfortunately.

Yes I mean the Pathfinder book. I love how it's a giant heavy beast. It's the only book we'll be using for the purposes of everything but monsters.. .Which you need not be concerned about *evil grin*
I shall review the submitted characters when I wake.

Seems like most things are in order so far
Jylan's initiative score isn't calculated on the sheet to +7 as it should be, nor are his skills done properly it would seem - you get 2+int mod (1) + 1 (human) and possibly 1 more (favoured class) skill point/level and you didn't add the +3 bonus for the ones you have being class skills. Also your bonus to hit with the longsword should be +5 due to weapon focus. The history is nice though and it will net you a family signet ring, with the symbol scratched out, which acts as a ring of protection+1 for one encounter per day - just tell me when you want to activate it.
Reinala seems pretty complete as far as I can see. I will allow her to have a guild seal which is enchanted to appear as a simple piece of jewellery to any aside from those others who wear them. It will grant feather falling a number of rounds per day equal to your rogue level.
Nevil needs to choose a Greyhawk god unfortunately, which limits choices due to alignment. Also your sheet seems to calculate stats based on a +1 modifier to constitution (hp/fort save) as opposed to the +2 that you have.
Grunhild looks well put together, let me know if there is a history forthcoming.
Loren seems to still need to be retooled to my setup
Viper I can only allow the next completed characters, as there are already five potential players. I have been neglecting my duties as a DM and updating, so I may have to allow a sixth..

I have a rogue from another pbp, lvl 1, enjoyed the character greatly, will have to adjust stats and monetary gains (gp/equipment).
The backstory-slight adjustment unless you're using the Pathfinder Campaign Setting then I can include it with almost no changes.
OR
A cleric. Same adjustments as above, background only thing needing big change.
OR
A very roleplay centered character, skilled in non-combat situations and able in combat.
I am very roleplay centric as a player and DM, I will act as such.
My two aliases are in my profile, along with backgrounds and the rest.
Gregory Thrune (rogue, associated with Cheliax and that family) and Amelia Delante (cleric of Irori, hardnosed, addicted to knowledge)

Narian, son of Ellor |

For DM, basic background:
As I departed my home, I felt a strange and unusual energy begin to flow from within me. Father always said I had potential, but only when I made the effort to explore would I awaken it. Whatever it is, I will explore deeper than I ever imagined, within myself and my connections to the world."
basic background intro, what I thought up on the spot. Stats and all that mechanical stuff I can do later, I'm at work. If you can wait another 2 hours, I can have Narian ready to go. More info in the profile.

Added more info; need feats, spells and equipment. I can roleplay all the rest easily without such things, I think as such anyway.
I'm off to the gym, need to work out, get back into proper shape (took a couple month break after achieving very high on my PT test (292), I usually train up for them then slack off afterward; I will learn to maintain, such is my goal)
I will complete it tonite, unfamiliar with Pathfinder but learning.
Namaste

Done. I'm going to leave traits blank for now.
