PERSONALITY
Curiosity is the main trait of Grunhild's personality. He is extremely inquisitive and always seeks to learn new knowledge and skills. He knows his curiousity sometimes annoys a few people and he tries not to overstep any boundaries even if he can't always help himself. Grunhild is also generous and tries to help those in need whenever possible.

BACKGROUND
Son of a weaponsmith father and a watch sergeant mother, it wasn't long before the young Grunhild had an hammer in hand. He was a quick learner and soon became proficient in the use of the hammer both as a tool and as a weapon. Janherhoff was a fine place to grow up for a young dwarf and Grunhild soon became fascinated by the history of his people. He read countless accounts of the various battles that took place both during the 'Quest for Sky' and after that. Extremely curious, he wasn't long before he had read almost everything in his household. As a young adult, he helped his father at the forge but he was still borrowing books left and right and trading stories with Janderhoff visitors, like the Shoanti and the Varisian travelers. Grunhild loved the forge and his home but, eventually, his curiosity got the better of him and he said his goodbyes and left the ancient Sky Citadel to explore Varisia.

He visited many ancient Thassilonian monuments but, more importantly, met many people and traded stories with them. He learned a few magic tricks from the gnomes, learned music with the Varisians and hunted with the Shoanti. Grunhild has been in Korvosa the last few months, making a living by helping dwarven merchants from his own city conduct their business. Unfortunatly for him, with the recent trouble, many of fellow dwarves have left the city for the safety of their stony halls.
