Just keep repeating that to yourself while you're watching it. :)

Ah, so it's an item that uses 6th edition rules. It's so badass it traveled back in time to whup 3.75 edition butt.

People, Rone will really send you glossies, but remember, you asked for them.

You should enter an item for RPG SupaStah!

December is WAY too crazy for me. I should prepare for it next year, when I ain't dissertating 'n' such.

Can we just hold a tribal council and vote December off the calendar?

Awwwww, I like December. I get five extra days off from work this month (some from saved vacation days, but still).

If were voting months off the calendar, my vote's for February. Man I hate that month.

Well, I find it understandable. Furry is just...too far.

Maybe I was too harsh. She was part kitty in Dark Angel and still nummy. Hmmm...

Argh, Dave Cook drives me up the wall.

Edit: I gotta couple Paizo books tempting me, so I'm gonna sign off. G'night all.

I liked Dane Cook in Mr. Brooks, but that's probably because

Spoiler:
his character ended up getting killed at the end of the movie. :)

Hallmark holiday. Never had much luck with it. And that's just about when I've had my fill of winter.

I do like Groundhog Day/Imbolc, as that is the halfway point through Winter. Of course the back half is always tougher to bear ...

Love December. And always seemed to be lucky with the ladies in February.

Hmmm... I don't like the heat, but I'm not about to lose any summer months.

I always thought the "when you sit on my lap today" song was kinda creepy.

(I know, not Rudolph, but I'm going with genre here.)

Where are you going to set up the Euro branch of Paizo, M? The French Riviera? Finland?

Guys and Gals, I have a question for you all. What do you all think of The Elder Scrolls IV - Oblivion? Is it worth buying and playing? Any tips and tricks? ~grins~ yes, this should go into the Video game area, but I wanted your opinion.

taig wrote:

Oh, I don't want to learn another language...so actually, Finland might work. But I was thinking the UK. I'd love to say London, but I'm not sure that would be within Paizo's budget. I've got friends in Liverpool, Durham, and Cambridge, so I think those would all look good. Also, I could probably get a good deal renting a friend's house in Belfast, so that'd be a consideration.

I'm not really the best person to answer this, since I'm more of a fan of the "third person view" BioWare-type games. I will say that my son enjoyed the game, but got bored after about 20 hours of play. That could be more him than the game experience, though.

I still haven't played it, Sharoth, but I have two friends who are super crazy about it and have been trying to get me to.

I would so be able to convince my wife to move to the UK if I got a job there.

Yeah, that sounds right. As far as I know, the Elder Scroll games are all similar for the most part. There's a main quest that you can safely ignore to just run around doing whatever you feel like, skills go up depending on how much you use them, and you're either going to get bored after a while or be hooked on it for months.

~grins~ Thanks Davi. I still need to pick up another copy of Baldur's Gate, especially since I gave my copy to a friend as an early Christmas gift.

No problem. I admit, I'm basing this mainly on my experience with Morrowind. It's a good game, but I finish running around the safe bits of the cities, get bored because I'm a coward about combat and refuse to venture out into the wilds, then stop playing.

Mine!
