Bump is a term used when you just make a post to put the thread back at the top of the list. The forum works where the thread with the last post is at the top. So the term bump came form bumping the thread up to the top of the list.

That is why you keep 'em in a shoe box and breed them. The make young faster then you might think. The only problem is there is only 1 or 2 females to males.
