Discovering what really happened to Aroden...that could involve virtually everywhere and take years of game time
Nothing happened to me! I'm fine. I just took the century off. I'll be back presently.
How many years do you guys put in a century again? And how many days in a year? I always get confused with puny mortal time units.

I've always wanted to do a campaign where the (previously unknown) god of language gets pissed and revokes Common. But that's just me.
Parley vieux Varisian?
Sprechen sie Chelaxian?Par vu Taldor?

So, what exactly can a group use in order to start their own Pathfinder campaign that really interacts with the PF world?
My group seems to be missing that aspect of the RPG. The games have been about exploring here and there but nothing really sticks out in the game world (political or religious story, for example) that makes the game really feel "Golarion"-like.
Any help...?

Just thought of this, there was a 3.5 era book produced by WotC near the end of the run. Elder Evils. Because the company was trying to get people to wrap up campaigns at the end of the 3.5 era, everything in the book was meant to end entire worlds. My personal favorite was the undead apocalypse caused by Atropus (I think that was the name) but some of the other ones were fun as well.
Edit: There's even a Wikipedia article!
Further Edit: Many of the things in there are easily adaptable to Golarion - which makes sense given that James Jacobs and Jason Buhlman were both contributors.

After reading about the planet Eox with it's undead population, I've had a campaign in the back of my head about a group of Eoxian Arch-Liches who decide to invade Golarion with a massive undead army in an attempt to seize the Starstone. Possibly with the assistance of the Whispering Way and/or Urgathoa's clergy.
It would be kinda like DC's Blackest Night arc combined with some good old high fantasy adventure and would start with a massive undead spike on the planet.
