To play just threadjack the most current post's topic.

Apples are good.

Um, so is that the end of the thread?

If not--I've only ever been stung by a bee once in my life.

TV rots your brain.

Who watches TV anymore anyway? The internets are the way of the future.

I own the internet. I should charge fees.

Then, while the owner of the full kit and kaboodle is here, I'd like to take a moment to complain about the lack of a true broadband infrastructure in the US. Get off yet lazy bum and upgrade mister!!

It's like living in the digital dark ages. You know, when people rode around in armor and dragons flew around and creatures of the night ruled the darkness.

I bit a vampire once ... it tasted like corn.

Christian Bale was better in "Reign of Fire" than "Terminator: Salvation."

In this day and age, there's no such thing as salvation. There is only oblivion.

Green is better than purple. Except when it isn't.

I got tickets for the upcomming Green Day concert and I'm stoked.

Three is a magic number, yes it is. Its a magic number.

Liberty's Edge

I liked when Crispin Glover was on David Letterman that one time.

Silver Crusade

So who has seen the new Harry Potter movie?

So I just went to talk with a potential client. Not sure how it went ... don't think I got the gig. <sigh> I need a regular 9-to-5 job ...

Where's global warming when you need it? I was going to BBQ tonight.

Sorry for the threadjack, but I desperately need some suggestions. Please name some relatively innocuous surface creatures that a kobold hunting party might encounter and mount their heads on the wall as trophies. Thanks, and again, please forgive the threadjack. :)

Edit Actually, I really would appreciate a few ideas. :)

While I'm thinking of it, if a paladin kicks a puppy, would he lose his powers?

Squirrels, possums, chipmunks, puppies, gophers, rabbits, sheep, chickens and cows. All with their facial expressions molded into ferocious sneers, of course.

And while I'm thinking on it, what, exactly, would constitute a "free-range cow"? If it wandered out onto the road, would it then be considered "free-range"?

"free-range"?

"Behold! The vicious bovitaur. The beast with the head of a cow, and the body of a cow!"

Sovereign Court

So if one were to threadjack a threadjack thread, would one post responding to another post, thereby giving the threadjack thread a topic, albeit for a limited time, be a threadjack in its own right?

If so ... <high fives Xuttah>

My evil plan has come to fruition! Mwah, hah, hah!

I didn't catch anything fishing tonight. Too cold or too rainy. Or, maybe not rainy enough.... :(

Scarab Sages

Damn that Barnes and Noble! They didn't stock any copies of the new Brian Lumley book. WTF? Anyway, screw them, I ordered it from Amazon and, even with shipping and handling, still paid less.

Sovereign Court

The stock market surged today... OVER 9000!?!
Seriously, the network news reporter actually said this.
I just added the stress at the ending.

Can I go home yet?

Carry the Brian Lumley book in your online store?

Yeah, but network news reporters are known for their rampant dedication to sensationalism in lieu of accurate reporting.

That's good news. The Bank of Canada has officially declared the recession over in the Great White North.

Speaking of economy, and sorry for the minor threadjack again, I really want to buy THESE SHOES. If we all vote for them, then they'll make them and we can all buy a pair!

I see what youre saying about the Bank of Canada. And I totally agree with all thats been said, but I must contend one point. If Economic analysis is applied throughout society, in business, finance and government, but also in crime, education, the family, health, law, politics, religion, social institutions, war, and science, then the expanding domain of economics in the social sciences can been described as economic imperialism. However the primary textbook distinction is between microeconomics ("small" economics), which examines the economic behavior of agents (including individuals and firms) and macroeconomics ("big" economics), addressing issues of unemployment, inflation, monetary and fiscal policy for an entire economy. And with that in mind, one must always think about spending 3 bucks on a spreadable butter substitute that might lower one's cholesterol rather than just cooking with possum lard.

You know something annoying? All of the best They Might Be Giants music videos have been taken off of Youtube. Is it too much to ask for a decent version of Ana Ng?

Scarab Sages

I'm still not sure why someone is already doing a remake of the film Let the Right One In. The damn movie is only, what, a year or less old? WTF?

I wonder if there's an upcoming Pathfinder expansion that lists economics as a cleric domain.

Speaking of clerics, whatever happened to Jozan?

Liberty's Edge

I hope clerics don't get nerfed to suckdom.

Wizards kick fiters' ass.

Why aren't there any prestige classes for clerics in the Pathfinder book? All the prestige classes force a cleric to take at least 3 levels in wizard/sorcerer. Why does Paizo hate the cleric?

Liberty's Edge

Rifts sucks.

Is that because clerics suck in Rifts?

And a wee threadjack, for our Asian friends, how was the total eclipse?

Hey! Guitar riffs are one of the foundations of modern music! You can't just say they suck with no reason!

I think I may of misread something...

Jimmy Hendricks songs had some awesome riffs.
