Question: Do you ship to Canada? Cause that Balor is sweet.

I can ship anywhere as long as everything works right through e-bay's payment system. :) I'll check in to it though.

Which dragon was the one Stefan sat on? I might have to buy it for him as a memento.

Thanks Steve! I am sorry that you are having to do this.

When will you be puting up the books that you want to get rid of?

Gah! I just looked for this and you sold it to the 1st bidder for a measly $12. I would have paid you more for it, b/c I like your work and would like to help you out w/ whatever you're going through financially. So no more selling to the "Buy it now!" crowd, ok? j/k

Maybe I'll have better luck w/ your next batch of stuff. Though I can only check this out at night PST...

There's a ton of stuff still up there for a reasonable or cheap price (one or the other). I'll be posting up my v. 3.5 Monster Manual, Monster Manual II, and Monster Manual III as well as my Spell Compendium later on today. I'm also putting up a slew of 1st and 2nd edition adventure modules (some still in the shrink wrap!). So check out all my listings this evening, Ben.

I will probably be selling off a lot of Dungeon and Dragon magazines if there's any demand at all for them. If you have some issues missing from your collection, post the issue #'s here and I'll see if I have them. If so, I'd be happy to sell mine to you with the exception of any that I have published articles/adventures in (those I keep!).

There was a fella over on the KQ boards that was looking for #118. Hell, that might not be a bad place to mention your auctions as well.

Steve, I'm not very versed in things e-Bay. Do you have a page there where all your stuff is linked to? All I'm able to do is link to individual things already posted in this thread (and most likely gone).

I have all 3.x issues of Dungeon, and pretty much what I need from Dragon. If you happen to have that elusive 2nd ed. issue of Dungeon that has Wolfgang's Empire of the Ghouls, though, let's talk ;-)

At this stage, my collection is mainly lacking/desiring certain 3.x modules by Necromancer Games & Dungeon Crawl Classics. I also can't get enough of Fiery Dragon counters.

I'll check back later tonight to see if you've posted new items or responded. Thanks much!

Thanks for the Sell Compedium Steve. My copy was... Well lets say that it was not in mint shape when I bought it.

If you type in my e-bay handle in the search box... OldPainterSteve... it should bring up all items I'm selling. There's also an option that says something like "More items by this seller"...

Just added several more books/adventure modules. You can click any of the links above and then click on the "View Sellers Other Items" link over on the right side to see the entire list of items.

Ok, I'm not an eBay virgin anymore. I bought 2 of your 2nd edition modules. I didn't realize eBay charged s/h for each and every item. That must be their part of the take, I guess.

Spoiler:
Btw, I'm running a friend through The Demon Within. We're having a great time.

** spoiler omitted **

Ben, you can combine shipping on items. If you purchase more stuff from me, wait until you get my bill (via e-bay) before you send the funds through PayPal. I can adjust it so that you only get one s/h fee for your purchases. I can refund you the extra cash on the s/h or provide free shipping on something else you buy from me. Just lemme know which you'd prefer. :)

Oh, and really cool to hear about your choice of adventure to run. Hope to hear more!

Ok, looks like my eBay proficiency just leveled up again. I'll know what to do in the future, in case you have more stuff I'd like. We don't need to sweat the $4 s/h for that 2nd item.

Cheers.

Just added some more miniatures to the mix tonight.

Gnoll Hunting Party
Griffon
Gibbering Mouther

Contributor

Also added these tonight:

Spectral Warrior. Probably one of my best minis, IMO.
Banshee
Winged Salamander. Also doubles as Geryon, though on the small side.
Glabrezu. The one I used during the playtest of The Demon Within.
Chimera
Marsh Troll
Barbarian with Bastard Sword
Female Half-orc Fighter
Goblins (2)
Ghosts (2)

Polishing the blades, did you say?

Well, if I have enough area on a sword, shield, or any other metal object on my minis to work with, I use a hobby knife (Exacto Blade) to gently scrape off the primer and surface residue until I get a shiny surface. Then I use a Tri-Grit sanding stick (by Squadron Tools), which looks kinda like a lady's nail file/emery board, to sand out the little nicks and rough areas with the coursest side, then sand it a bit more with the buffing surface, then go over it one more time with the polishing surface (the sanding stick has 3 separate surfaces on it, thus the name Tri-Grit).

It's pretty easy and you get a much more visually appealing mini than simply slapping on some silver paint. The effect is especialy cool when you can polish the armor too.

Sounds like a good method to use - and I agree, it sounds more asthetically pleasing that the standard "paint it metal" process.

You sir make me sad.... Sad that you have to sell stuff you've accumulated and worked on for years.... and sad I am so very broke I cannot take advantage of your wonderful minis. I am a mini enthusuiast(sp) and I love your carefully painted minis, and have drooled over all you've posted. The assorted dungeon props are especially tempting, as was the dual weilding barbarian lady (I bid but lost that one :P). If I too wasn't financially strapped you would have already sold all of these. :)

Steve,

I just bought the ogre. Will you combine shipping if I pick up more items.

Steve, I jsut recieved my two books, Guide to Hell and the Spell Compendium. Thank you again for doing this. I will take good care of these books.

+1 (I want to cry that I can't buy the fire giant or the griffon.)

Sent you a reply via e-bay but I'll reply here too. Yes, I do combine shipping and actually recommend that you guys buy at least a couple items since you won't have to pay shipping costs on everything. Little more bang for you buck that way. Just be sure to request combined shipping and let me know when you're finished buying so I can send you one invoice for it all.

I'll have you know that the Fire Giant mini has struck awe and fear in my players many a time. It's nice when you know you're going to stomp your players that you can put a nice big a*skicker like him on the table to do it. LOL. :)

Awesome. And thanks for letting me know you got it. I've wondered about every mini and book I've sent out if they are arriving ok and in good condition. My fear is that one of the really nice minis I've mailed out to someone is going to arrive to them all broken and chipped.

Anytime my friend. I am glad that I could inform you about them. ~looks through the books again~ You took great care of them. Thanks.

Also, are you going to put any more books up on e-bay anytime soon? I was just wondering.

Whenever I can get some more time to take some pictures and post them, I'll have a lot more to list. More coming this week for sure.

Bump.
Just added a bunch of books on e-bay. Click the links above and look for more items sold by me to see them all. I'll have a crap load of miniatures to add this week as well.
If anyone's looking for some particular minis for their games, let me know and I'll put up what I have right away if I do have them.

Aw, shucks! Sorry to hear that. Is there anything in particular you'd like to add to your collection? Like any specific type of miniature? I can check through my vast collection (and yes it is vast... still!) and see if there's anything that fits the bill. I'd be happy to sell privately and forego the whole e-bay process.

I'll probably be shooting the photos of the new batch of miniatures I planned to add this week tomorrow. So there should be a whole slew of new metal up by late afternoon.

Contributor

The following metal is up for grabs on e-bay.

Wizard with Snake Staff
Gnome with Repeating Crossbow
Inquisitor
Warrior Maiden in Plate Mail
Hobgoblins (4)
Swashbuckler
Templar
Undead Hunter
Evil Cleric
Dwarven Lord
Barghest (wolf form)

I took 3 times this many pictures, but it's been taking forever to upload the damned photos to E-Bay so this is all I had time to post there tonight. I'll add the rest tomorrow.

Contributor

OK. I added the rest from yesterday that I didn't get to.

River Trolls (2)
Frost Giant
Hill Giant
Ettin. I have two of these.
Ogre Magi
Marilith
Dire Wolf
Werebear
Wereboar
Wererats (2)
Spectre with Flaming Sword

Man, I wish I hadn't already blown my mini money for the month. That ogre mage is sweet.
