HI I don't live in the USA and our local gamestore closed last year. I'm interested in buying a couple of copies of Pathfinder and would interested to know if it will be available trough Amazon so I can do a combined shipping with some Star Wars Saga books I want.
A few of the local groups here aren't playing 4th ed and one book will be for my group and the other for a friend. Not sure if I will run a Pathfinder game but it will look great and the shelf and I'm keen to look at the final product.

By the way, why isn't it available till a month later on ama?
Once Paizo receives the books in their warehouse they still need to send it to Amazons/Other retailer's warehouses/stores. The month difference is the lag time that it takes for Paizo to ship it to those stores, I would assume. Remember with ordering from Paizo on this website you're ordering directly from the publisher, so you're bound to get it faster.

Paizo sends it to Diamond Distributors, which sends it to amazon, so there's an exta stop in there too..

Well, if it's the Core RPG you want, you can find it at these links:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1601251505
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/1601251505
http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/1601251505
http://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/1601251505
Only .COM has a firm release date for when it'll be available for purchase. The other sites have the August date listed for publishing, but no date for release.

Yeah, but we send books to *all* retailers via distributors, so that doesn't really account for it.
I don't really trust Amazon's release dates for small publishers and game industry publishers. (I'm sure they do their best, but getting accurate release dates in our industry is nigh impossible.) At any rate, I can't imagine why they wouldn't have their copies within a week or so of the release date at worst....

I definitely don't trust their dates. I once preordered something from Amazon and figured no big deal, it'll just be a month later than when everyone else gets it and I'm in no hurry. Wrong, they shipped it a week before it even hit the stores and totally out of the blue on me. Luckily I had extra money in the bank as I had used a debit/credit card for the preorder. My recommendation is to just preorder it then purchase a gift card for the ammount and apply it to the order. Nice thing about Amazon is that at time of shipping they charge you the cheapest price, either initial price or correct updated price, and will refund difference as credit.
