We have to throw a party. That is what happens. You eat a great meal, meet a few faces, and then you party. It's 9 o'clock. Everyone knows its party time.
What say you? WHAT SAY YOU??
I will bring the keg if we all split it! :)
There is no way I am playing trivial pursuit with wine and degrading to a Twizzler Game.

Somehow I was able to get Thur night off from work so I will be able to attend the meet and eat so add one more please. I had a blast last year at the meet and eat, stuffed on sushi always makes me happy!
As for after the dinner some gaming would be great either at the hotel or at a gamestore although last years place was a bit small for the group that seems to be assembling this year!
Another option would be to go out and hit the town! Thursday is 80's night at Neighbours night club in Seattle, $3 cover, they are open until 3 am and $3.75 double well drinks. Its really the only hotspot going on in town on a Thur. night. I know the dj who spins some of the best of the 80's and its usually packed full of a mixed crowd, Neighbours being a gay club. Its a very open environment and in the many years I have gone its anything goes. My friend has left with many a women from the club. I can fit 4 in my car if this would interest anyone, a paizocon special offer. Its a blast you'll not want to miss!
WOW only a week away and its 80's night tonight, guess I'll go do a little dancing. The wait is almost over!
Cheers
Rob

Regardless I am getting a Keg of Beer. I love Redhook, and I know you locals can nearly swim in it, but hitting that brewery is like a minor microbrew dream. I could get a keg from there. Longhammer or there classic Redhook Ale. I might consider (2) 1/4 barrel kegs, and of course my homebrews will be on hand. Will be gifting some to my heroes at Paizo however. An offering for the publishing gods, if you will.
Vol Hungers. We must feed him.

We will defiantly be down for a little party. But we will only chip in for beer if it is a nice microbrew, we prefer dark but won't be too picky. We can also bring a couple bottles of our homemade meade. Where is this going to happen?
What a coincidence, I will have my homemade stuff there too. Not meade, but I am interested in trying your stuff. Yes, microbrew or import...never the "C", "M" or "B" for me.

Nani and I would be happy to donate towards the kegs. Glad to hear that we are on the same page as far as "good" beer is concerned.

Thank you for offering. I am on the fence to everyone's tastes. As I stated above I like Red Hook, but I am not closed minded to getting just that.
I will now take suggestions for beer keg types. I am open minded.

I loved me some Mac & Jack's when I was able to drink it, and if I had the money, I'd buy them a bottling line. Their African Amber is muy bueno, but sadly about all that makes it out to Boise.
Haven't tried Black Raven, but I think I've heard of it.
You've also got Elysian, a local McMenamin's, Hale's, Pike... I mean, it's not Portland, where you can't throw an organically grown fair-trade stone without hitting a brewery, but Seattle's not exactly a beer-desert.
Oh, and Pyramid, but I'm a bit mad at them at the moment, so, uh, yeah. No comment.

Alright, we need a definite plan. I am wondering if I should buy the beer on Wednesday or not.
Where?
I have two other roommates that might just want to sleep. Not sure what they think. So if we have a place to go, that would be nice. If not, I am all for being rude.
What?
Have no opinions on what beer to bring. Wednesday I visit Redhook Brewery. I could pick up the keg(s) then.
How many?
No idea who all will show up.
Activities?
Board games, dice games, card games?
I am perfectly willing to host this in my hotel room, but that would have minimum seating. I could bring a few chairs I guess. I am coming by car.
A little help here, time is running out.
1/2 barrel keg from redhook will cost 120 bucks. 1/4 barrel keg will cost 66 bucks.

Hmm, I am close to calling this off. Hearing nothing is a bad sign for such an expenditure of cash (mostly by me). Forgive me if I get a little miserly with the beer that will be on hand. It is all on my pocket if I provide too much.
I'd be willing to kick in $20 for this endeavor. Dark beer preferred, though a good lager or pilsner would work as well ... so will any quality brew for that matter. ;)

I know that there are a lot of people running PFS games starting Friday. I for one would love the chance to play through slot zeroes. Majuba has offered to run one of #23 for me, assuming others want to play. So I vote for gaming back at the hotel after the Meet & Eat, especially if it means I can avoiding eating the scenario.

You are Mexican Hugo???
Well, in that case you get to drink for free.
Here's the deal. There is a lot to this. I am going to get Redhook 1/4 barrel, roughly 60 beers.
I have pitchers for beer.
I have beer glasses. Not platicky garbage, good glass mugs. 12 oz and 32 oz. I have a lot of beer in the bottle. No commercial stuff except Shock Top Belgian Wheat from some commercial brewer trying to pose as a trendy microbrew. People like it though. I can't see people drinking 60 beers of porter. It maybe dark in color, but its roasted grains.
The party will be at my pad. There will be a game going. Maybe two or three. My room number is 247. There are three of us here. Larcifer, GreenGreen Grunt and myself. My pad will accomodate roughly 20 or more people. I just hope there isn't any snoops or pick pockets.
Party 'til dawn if you like. There will be music and cold beer to throw you all off your feet if you wish. I don't like hard alcohol, so you will have to bring your own in that case.
I encourage you to leave or take the mugs of beer. If you don't care about PathfinderChronicler.net, I rather it stay. Just my bias. I will provide samples of my microbrews. There are dark lager microbrews.
I would love to try the meade.
Also, this will take place after the Meet and Eat. I saw Larcifer mentioning leveling up by conventions end, I assume he means he is playing this night. I will most likely be editing my last short story for the Fiction Workshop through some of the party.
I hope everyone enjoys themselves and say nice things about Pathfinder Chronicler . Net You will see why when you get here.
If you get a chance, try to introduce yourself to me. I am not very good with names, but sometimes they click.
Zuxius knows how to throw a party.
Cya there!

I'm not really a beer drinker, but, great googly moogly, that Varisian Pilsner was awesome. Thanks, Zuxius!
I'm glad to have met Lilith, Hugo (who gave me the illustration he did for my article--Thanks, Hugo!), Timitius, Zylphryx (who does indeed look like Penn Gillette), Larcifer, Jason Nelson, Benchak, N'wah (and I'm sure I'm forgetting people).
Next year I'm making my travel plans differently so I can go to the Meet and Eat and stay through Sunday. <grumble>

Note to Paizo: At least among the folks at this particular gathering, there was a lot of interest in PSIONICS!!!
(and I was secretly tickled when Lilith and one of the others talked about how they liked the connection to psi I had dropped into the half-elf piece in the campaign setting book - just a little squee!)

The Zirnakayin Dark Lager is so good it should be outlawed! It was a pleasure to meet you man, and thanks for the awesome potent potables and the even better hospitality!
No! Something as incredible as the Zirnakayin Dark Lager should never be outlawed ... or if it is, I should be named Custodian of Illicit Goods.
Zuxius, it was a GREAT pleasure meeting and hanging out with you. You truly do know how to throw a party. And thanks to your roommates as well for the use of y'all's suite for the gatherings.
Hope to see you again next year. I'll see if I can get some mead going here in the next few weeks and repay your generosity with the homebrew with some in kind ... perhaps a melomel or a metheglin instead of just straight up mead ... though to stick with your theme, I should perhaps try to create the Early Winterdrop Mead ... just need to figure out what would go in it. Anyone have any suggestions? :)

Everyone, I was tickled you took my word for it and showed up. At the least, I wanted to make it worth your while. I really wanted to meet so many of you. I loved that whole thing and will vow this much for next time.
Next years party will be even bigger.
More beer selections!
More food!
More entertainment!
More Zuxius :)
I will get the penthouse for sure.
Hopefully they will have a bathroom downstairs too.
Thank You all for coming. And in case you didn't know, there was a party going on everynight I was in that room.
Sure it get's old, but so do we.

Zux, thanks for throwing those awesome shindigs. Really, that's what I wanted out of PaizoCon: to get to meet and hang out with all you cool folks, and you delivered. And now that Boomer and I know the side-door shoe trick, our smoke breaks will only last twenty minutes instead of an hour. :P
And I'll be bringing some delicious libations next year, pocketbook willing. I still have four damn bottles of '07 Abyss that need drinking, and by then I can bring the '09 for a mini-vertical. I'll see if I can scoop up an '08 as well. If you folks got any requests, lemme know. I can scrounge up a LOT of interesting stuff, from simple, elegant pilsners to beat-you-about-the-face-and-neck Imperial stouts and barleywines. I do sell this stuff for a living after all. :D
How was the trip to the Co-op, BTW? Sorry I didn't stop by, but I was exhausted.
