Pathfinder core rulebook availability at GenCon 2009

General Discussion (Prerelease)

Will there be a good chance of actually being able to purchase the physical rulebook at GenCon. Last year I was terribly disappointed by WotC because I desperately wanted to buy the KOTOR Star Wars Saga Edition book there but they brought a tiny supply with them and they sold out before I had chance to get one.

On the 13th. will they go on sale in the morning when GenCon opens?

Yep!

Dark Archive

Paizo will be bringing 10x what they brought for the beta which sold out on the second day. They hope that amount will get them through, but I think it would be awesome for them to sell out of that amount as well.

I sure hope so. I'll be at GenCon, but I'll be working at the Forge booth, so I may not be able to stand in line. Hopefully, I can swoop in and grab one quickly right away.

We're bringing enough that I'll be shocked if we sell out by the end of the show. That said, I thought we brought enough Betas last year and we sold out of those by the end of the first hour on the second day. So, I'm prepared to be shocked again.

Will we be able to get autographs from Paizo staff, by any chance? It was a nice touch when Monte Cook autographed copies of Ptolus a couple of years ago.

Paizo Employee Chief Creative Officer, Publisher

Any employee at the booth will be happy to sign your books. If you come at the right time, you can probably catch some of our freelancers stopping by too.
