Any chance of a Players Handbook / GM guide release?

While I'm really excited about the release of Pathfinder RPG, the size of it is too big for my tastes. I would actually prefer to buy a 300 page Players Handbook and similarly sized GM guide for $60-$70 than spend $50 on one giant book. Any chance of this?

I personally prefer one book over multiple books. That's just my preference though.

The costs of having two options of rulebooks out would be prohibitive, divide the market and add needless confusion. Producing a ruleset is a big business risk. No matter how many years old the game gets, I dont see there being those alternate options.

Hope that helps, but the big book will have to do.

Don't know if it helps, but if you buy the book and pdf it'd be perfectly okay to print sections out for smaller more portable use.

I also prefer just one book. Last night, when my gaming group was over, I pulled down my Ptolus book, opened it up to page 576, and showed everyone: "THIS is how big the Pathfinder RPG will be!"

We have no plans at this point to split the book into two books.
