Figured, its too liquidey and smooth, lightning is usually depicted jaggy and far closer to white!

I don't think it's his pauldron, I think it's his belt of strength...and his pouch is falling off too, he's just in a world of hurt now though. Especially since the huge claw has his neck in it...I think Valeros is not long for this world...

I have to admit that I find the AD&D Type III demon's "caliper" type of pincer or the 3.5 Monster Manual "scissors" claw more evil-looking than the big lobster claw (which I think looks a bit silly).
I think crab claws look more wicked--like on a blue crab. Lobster claws just make me hungry.
