They say the current A-H1N1 is a combination of pig, avian, and human DNA, from those animals living in close proximity to each other in domesticity. Anyone who has read Charlotte's Web knows we should be on maximum alert for the dreaded Spiderpig Flu.

I do not believe spiderpig appreciates your accusations...

Accually, the next pandemic is the dreaded P4120 virus. It is supposed to hit sometime late summer. It causes restlessness, anxiety, and in some extreme cases (1 in 7) dementia. Check P4120 Virus for full details.

Since someone already beat me to Zombie Flu, I'll go with Platypus Flu instead. I've always thought those little things were creepy.
Which is exactly why it will be the Koala Flu. No one will get close enough to platypi to catch a virus from them. They can't even decide if they're birds or mammals, for crying out loud.

What has Australia done for us lately? I'm going with Koala flu.
You get that from Drop Bears - They look just like Koala's but they are carnivorous and carry a deadly virus under their claws. They kamikaze at you from out of gum trees gut you and eat your intestines.
If you survive and get away you usually die of the infected wounds a day or so later ;-)

They Lay eggs, feed their young with milk and are warm blooded. The males have poisonous spurs on their hind legs. They have an inbuilt movement sensor in their bills so they can find grubs and worms when they are snuffling around the creek bed.
What is not to like, they are too classy an animal to have a virus.

Oh, no! We're doomed!
And for some reason, I typed P1 instead of H1 in my last post. Maybe the next big virus will be the typo flu, whose symptoms include the inability to properly spell the name of the virus.
