I call shenanigans! That's clearly a VtM book in her hands, while a D&D(?) book is open atop what is obviously a SR4 book! There's no way that's a real game!

edit: Oh wait.. we're supposed to be looking at the female, aren't we? Umm.. aheh... Carryon! ^^; (shuffles away)

Actually, she addresses that in the comments. She was trying not to endorse any particular game (or game system). :)

Or maybe they're just... nah, what you said. :-D

Got to admit, those are some nice wings. I'm not sure they warrant their own web page, but who knows? Maybe it will catch on.

Y'know...I have to say this, because it's just too cool...the Akasha girl? I know her. I went to college with her in central Georgia. She used to hang out with me and my friends until she moved on to Macon to go to school there...don't even know where she is now, but I should go tell her hi on facebook and see how she's doing. D*Con '06...man, what a year that was. We had six people go that year, and we could only afford one hotel room at the Marriott, so we all had to share that one single room. Five guys and one girl. She got a bed to herself, two guys took one bed, one guy slept between the chairs, and two of us were on the floor. It was like a freakin' sardine can or something. Her boyfriend came up to Atlanta that day and helped her spirit gum the top on. Not to mention the time she came into the room after a shower wearing just a towel to get her clothes. Yeah...we were all shocked and spun around really quick to make sure we caused no offense. Anyway.

Thanks for the reminder, Fyre! I need to remember to keep in touch with old friends and see how they're doing every now and again.

You wouldn't... Know her, by any chance, would you?

And what would it take to get an introduction?
(Yes, she finally qualifies for the thread title - in my opinion. I'm particularly fond of this one. Those eyes could melt me.)

What was this guy doing at an anime convention? This is more like it. This is the cutest gamer chick I could find.

Nice! Btw, are you sure you can't do the Leah slave-girl thing for us. ;)

You seek LeiasMetalBikini.com.

In return, we want... a Seoni. You must return here with a Seoni or else you will never pass through this wood alive!

And you know that all of the links acctually show gamer chick. I mean... How pale can you get. Only a lifetime dedicated to roleplaying can get that kind of near-translucent skin.

She has a really pretty smile. Seriously. Here's someone who's proud of who she is. I wouldn't mind meeting her someday.

Personally, I have my very own hot as hell adorable little gamer chick. She's at Fanime this weekend in San Francisco while I'm stuck working. Lucky.

Ah, but you are lucky. (even if it doesn't feel like it at the moment.)

Sorry I've got to side with the Mona here, 90% of the links I've followed in this thread are not the Hawtness, a more appropriate title would have been

Gamer Chicks are the Allrightness.

Most of the links are girls that are allright, some are downright fugly.

I don't know, maybe my standards are set rediculously high, but I've become increadibly picky since falling in love with my wife, very few girls rate the Hawtness with me, thank you lilith for actually posting a link to a girl who rates as the Hawtness. Hands down. And then the girl who wore the gen13 costume in one link was pretty good as well, but had a funny nose.

No, you are correct, I wasn't falling over my jaw either. Some were okay, but nothing I would call hot. Like I said, the first picture had a lovely smile, which is my weakness.

Well I personally have a weakness for the last one I posted, but that's just me. ;)

She sits on dad's lap, holds her character sheet, and rolls the dice. What more do you want from a four year old?

Beginning Reading, Simple Math, and Basic Problem Solving - but gaming already teaches all those things. :D

The Exchange

Sorry, four year olds aside, the majority of the "hot" chicks shown on these various sites are ... (how do I say this nicely?) not. There are exceptions, but I think more than anything these galleries help reinforce the stereotypes, not break them.

Just saw this thread. The first girl from the OP's post (the "Gamer" link) is actually a friend of mine. Her big brother actually works for Margaret Weis, and we were all singing Karaoke at DragonCon last year with Larry Elmore over in the Hilton. XD

So yeah, Stacy is definitely a 100% genuine GamerGrrl™.

Figured I should contribute some more DragonCon and Ren Faire pics of the gamer girls I know...

Wonder Woman (alt outfit)
Molitov Cocktease
Ayane
My friend Wendi. Possibly doing a PowerGirl outfit this year if she has the time to make it.
Alex, a local friend here in Charlotte.
Alex and company
Hannah and Darlene, the pixie warmage and elven cleric from my Horde of the Red Hand campaign
Photograph of one of my friends fantasizing about Hannah
Hannah goes piratey
Darlene sportin' some henna
De-winged pixie with a sword... this can't be good

Stacy and her sister, Bambi...
Outside MW's booth
With a plush e-coli doll in her top
Dip!

My very own gamer girl, Kelsey:

NC Ren Faire
Dippity dip
Elfitudinal
Jazz hands!
She and big-sister dig my velvet
Did I mention she's does professional costume tailoring?

Unfortunately, I don't have an overhead LCD. Of course I would disconect my laptop from it before coming here.

Whoa.

Let's get something straight though....Gamer Chicks are not the "hawtness".

They are Goddesses!!! :)

Liberty's Edge

Like others here, I just married one and then dress her up as I see fit. She's awesome about it.

Beats the crap out of pictures ^_^

So ... I'm having lunch in one of my classrooms and kicking back with the bonus bestiary. One of my students comes in -- a very pretty one, with a quick wit, and loads of brains.

"What are you reading," she asks. Before I can answer, she says "Oh, cool! So when do they release the PFRPG?".

Somehow I feel that this whole exchange violates some t&C somewhere.

As well it should! How inappropriate would it be to allow one slightly nerdy adult to introduce two other slightly nerdy adults to each other. I continue to be thoroughly ashamed.

All these girls are beautiful, but I'm not sure it's the outside that matters, personally I think if any of these women walked up to a man and whispered:

"I beat your spell resistance, now make a will save"
you would all melt into a pool of goo.

I'm not even sure there is a save against something like that...
