Everything ok, Lyn? Haven't heard from you since wedsday, just wanted to make sure things are alright.
Sorry about that. I was on vacation. I only had a couple of hours a day on the computer. I had a hard time following events in the game without the ability to take notes. I'll get an update up for you guys later today.
Adrick Balasar
Holding on for all hes worth, Adrick tries his best to pull himself inStr to pull self in (1d20=5) Just as he feels hes making head way a wave crashed against Adrick and pushes him a bit farther out and he would have struggled to keep his grip had he not been tied to it
Lynora de Trevante
Okay, after a review, I'm seeing Fish, Sanura, Finn, Nimm, and Garan still in the boat. Adrick, Kauul, Quentin, and Arioch are in the water. I'm still reviewing to see who is sickened/nauseated. And so far only one person has made the Profession sailor check to keep the boat from tipping and they didn't roll high enough on their own, so if nobody else assists that, the boat is tipping.
Also sorry about the long absence. Didn't mean to disappear on you guys.
Lynora de Trevante
Okay then, Sanura is in the water, leaving only Fish, Finn, Nimm, and Garan in the boat. I did find one other preofession sailor roll that I had missed, but that still leaves you guys short what you need to keep the boat upright.
Also, Arioch and Kauul are the only ones not sickened. Sanura, Fish, Garan, Quentin, and Adrick are all sickened. Finn and Nimm are nauseated.
As soon as I get the profession sailor rolls I'll move on to the next round of the storm which will be a little calmer.

Profession Sailor: 1d20+7=18
I think with Nimm making the check, there are enough of us helping him now that we've got the DC. Would have really had it if Arioch had made that roll, but he listed it as aiding another.

Yep. You were only short one +2 before Nimm's roll, so hurrah your boat does not get flipped upside down :)
Lynora de Trevante
After what seems like an eternity the force of the storm finally starts to fade. The height of the waves begins to lessen with the force of the winds.
DC 12 Ref to stay in the boat.
DC 20 Str check to get back in the boat.
DC 18 Prof Sailor to keep the boat upright.
DC 12 Fort save for sickened/nauseated. If you make the save this time you can reduce your sickened/nauseated condition by one.
Kauul
ugh, looks like Kauul's still in the water, trying to flip the boat, and still sick..... Strength check: 1d20+2=9, Profession (sailor) check: 1d20=8, Fortitude save: 1d20+4=10
*grunt*
"Help please."
Quentin Silverhome
Quentin works to steady the boat from outside, he's still managing to paddle like a fish in the water, clearly at home in it.Swim Check (1d20+7=20)
So he moves around the outside to help hold onto Kauul and make sure he doesn't slip under. Now that he's spent a bit of time in the water, he manages to fight back the feeling of nausea from the rocking boat, keeping himself in check. Fort Save (1d20+3=21)
I managed to aid on the Sailor check, but I'd recommend we all just help one of the ones who has the skill and isn't sickened. That -2 on everything just sucks a lot. I'm glad I managed to shake it off now, so I'll be able to help more with the next set of rolls.
Adrick Balasar
Fort Save (1d20+3=22) Adrick thinks to himself well at least my stomache has settled down for the moment at least.
The cleric still seems to be struggling in the water as he tries to climb into the boat (1d20=17)
Sanura Agashti
Sanura stays in the water for the time being, helping the others if they need it. After a bit of time, her stomach settles.
In the boat, Fish is able to stay inside.
Reflex 1d20+7=26-2 is 24
His stomach does not settle though.
Fort: 1d20+7=16

Fort: 1d20+7=16
Huh? Fish goes from nauseated to sickened with that roll. It was only a DC 12 to improve a category.
Nimm Qa'dim
Rolls (Reflex, Sailor, Fort): 1d20+6=20, 1d20+7=10, 1d20+4=9
Well, I'm still in the boat, at least and aiding on the sailor checks...
"Honest" Fineal
With the +10 from Spider Climb I can't fail the Reflex save. Fortitude: He is critically hardy.
Fin clutches to the sides of the boat like a crazed man, but he is looking a bit less sick.
Lynora de Trevante
At last the storm begins to break up and you can see the first rays of light beginning to peek through the clouds. It looks to be about midmorning. The waves are still a little choppy, but not too bad, and it's no longer a terribly difficult thing to keep the dinghy upright. You are able to pull all those who were in the water back into the boat. You shiver in the cool air and try to get your bearings.
I'm gonna need some Survival checks for this one.

Knowledge:Geography, Survival (1d20+5=20, 1d20+5=17) Trying to use my knowledge of geography compared to where I suspect(with survival) that we were blown to. Is there someplace that is likely closer to us now then where we were originally headed?
With the storm over, Quentin paddles around, helping everyone else back into the boat before hoisting up himself. He raises tall and peers around, curious if there might be any land off in the distance, and trying to use the sun to judge just where they should be headed.

You know that outside of Chance harbor and the waterways near Mertan's Cove, the coastline of Sorryn consists of sheer cliffs. The water near the cliffs is rocky and can be treacherous for those who don't know their way. You would guess that the coast of Vaelyn is closer, but you also know that Vaelynese waters are infested with pirates and kuo-toa and that even if it's a longer trip you're better off rowing east rather than continuing west.
Quentin Silverhome
Quentin frowns, looking around at the others. "I don't think we have too many options here, friends. To the North, we will hit some cliffs with no good place to moor. The west would be our quickest route, but those are dangerous waters and we aren't in good condition to try and fight off an foes. Our vessel would be overtaken by pirates quickly. We may want to stick with our original plan and try to get east. The storm set us back some, but we should still be able to make it. Lets get back to chance!"
He points to the east, ready to take his turn at the oars when Khuul starts to wear out.

He points to the east, ready to take his turn at the oars when Khuul starts to wear out.
"Unless of course, piracy is our goal. Let's face it: this lot made lousy sailors, but they'd make one helluva pirate crew! We could join up and see how fate treats us?"
Quentin Silverhome
Quentin considers Nimm's statements for a moment. "I can't say that I'm right with taking the lot of anyone who doesn't well deserve it. Robbing a cruel aristocrat or poking a hole in a mercenary supply line is one thing, but deterring merchants from taking the harvest of the local peasants so they go without, just because we have made the shore more unsafe? That I would voice against."
He looks at the boat they are in and shrugs a bit. "In any case, we are simply a floating target at the moment. I can't imagine any vessel being too ready to submit to us in this, and certainly any pirates we meet are far more likely to scuttle us then to welcome us in their crew."
Kauul
*turns the boat so it's heading east and continues rolling*
Con check 1: 1d20+2=19; Con check 2: 1d20+2=6once again, Kauul only rows for 5 hours
"Arioch, fish?"

Nimm will take a turn at the oars, but only gets 4 hours before he tires.

"Aye, Kauul" Dives over the side with the fishing net to scoop up some fish for the group.
Quentin Silverhome
"There are more then just frogs to the west, friends. We could be set upon by Kuo-toa, and we would gain nothing in a fight with them and could certainly loose much."
Eager to get away from this place, Quentin takes his turn at rowing and manages to keep up the pace for seven hours before he is finally too exhausted to continue. Con (1d20+2=11)
Con check 2 (1d20+2=12)
Con Check 3 (1d20+2=15)

No worries. I'm glad you caught it and took measures to stop it from happening again. I don't think it really caused any problems here that I know of.
