Some guy found my palindromic song on Paizo (searching to see if he was the only one who came up with Emu Love Volume)and then wrote on his myspace page that I must have lied about coming up with this in 40 minutes because nobody could. I wrote on his page, "Maybe I'm just much better at this than you are."
The entire song is a single palindrome with rhyming verses.
EMU LOVE VOLUME (c. Rone Barton 2002)
Ho!
Emu love volume!
Race laser if flow erupts
I'm raft I'm muse--ew!
Rent rape us
Awash, crane dragon sits
But rat is bonked
I trap a spine
Man, tinker on!Emu love volume!
Sit in it now
I won't sulk cus
Stuck cab sleep
One man rusts
A last surname no!
Peels back cuts
Suck lust now
I won tinitisEmu love volume!
No reknit name
Nips a part
I deknob sitar tubs
tis no garden arch
Saw a sue partner
Wee summit far
Mist pure wolf
Fire sale carEmu love volume!
Oh!
Does this come with music?

Probably one of the four songs I wrote that never got music.
(and the world rejoiced)
I was hunting down some heavy stuff to send you and stumbled across those two country songs I tracked out for Martina McBride's husband hiding in a forgotten niche on my hard drive. They're just song demos (intended to sell the songs to John McBride's nascent publishing house), but I got to play a bunch of instruments and track out lead and backing vox in a style I'm unused to and it was kinda fun. So long as you have strong hook, music's music, but listening to me try and sing in a country accent is an unforgivable gagortion.
Speaking of unforgivable. (warning: very mature content)

Oh, beautiful! It's based on the Boss! Hey, everybody, I got an oblique cultural reference!

Less then that since I've seen him posting under that alias for at least two days. It just took that long for someone to care enough to mention it. According to the receant posts, he just took the weekend off.

OK this is completely NOT political correct...
but winning an internet argument is like winning the Special Olympics. At the end of the day you are still a retard.
And let me apologize to everyone in advance... lol but ifyou want to argue about it and hope to win... read the above statement again!
lol
oh by the way... yes on occasion I hitch a ride on the short bus too!
I'm not looking to pick a fight, and I recognize your disclaimer, and as someone who counts more 'retards' and 'special' people among his friends and co-workers than not, I find this incredibly offensive.
Detestably so.
Cheers
Ian

Yeah, he gets away with everything.
I was not even looking for this. It was on Yahoo’s front page. I am sure GW would have gotten it worse though.
I am more irked by his recent comment urging people not to ask the federal and state governments to cut taxes and improve services. What happened to improving schools and health care reform that could just be paid out of eliminating wasteful spending? Granted, he is not saying he is raising taxes, but that does seem the logical next step.

Ah well. To his credit the new alias has a very polite persona (compared to the old one). So maybe it's a rebirth of sorts. Flynnster is dead, long live Flynnster ...
Sometimes it's best to come back with a different alias.
If it's done to get round a ban, then it's poor form, as is using the new avatar to fling the same old crap around.
If it's a clean slate, that's different. Maybe it makes it more likely that some posters will give the benefit of the doubt, without thinking 'Oh, Hell, not HIM again...'.

I found out about it, it wasn't a secret, I was more commenting on the fact that CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, Today, GMA, not even Fox mentioned it this morning at all. Only internet sources so far. I'm sure it'll get run in the evening talk programs, but if this had happened two years ago, I'm sure the press would have figured out a way to make my alarm clock inform me of the happening.
Edit to eliminate double post:
The 2001 tax caps expire in 2010, Obama has already said he's letting them die, and he's looking hard at limiting deductions for charitable giving, a combination that will devastate charitable giving.

He's using the same account, so, as far as I know, it isn't a ban evasion or anything.

He is not banned, or even suspended.

Court Fool,
I'm not sure how exactly I ended up on this thread (for that matter, sometimes when I'm on the intarwebz late at night / early in the morning I'm not sure of a great deal of things), but this brought a smile to my face.
