Who would have thought James’ avatar had less teeth than James.

That's what happens when you apply the fiendish template to an overworked Editor in Chief.

Spoiler:
Picture was taken 3.1 seconds after James see's a certain spelling error on a certain map contained in a certain publications world book.

These pictures continue to give us insight into these people we know virtually, yes? Scary.

Seriously though, David, good entry. And I am glad your plans for brevity were superseded: this is a better length for a blog posting. The ones that are shorter than this always leave me feeling like I did not get anything of substance in my daily Paizo dose. In addition to getting the literary and cultural influences behind Pathfinder, it is also interesting to feel something of the personalities coming through: Mona packing details in what I imagined to be rapid-fire succession, Jacobs giving less while expanding on it much more (I had to reread the blog to realize that JJ only really talked about two authors: Lovecraft and Barker.) I hope we see another edition of The Fabled Appendix this week. Keep it up!

Thanks guys! We've been swamped here lately, editing at a frantic pace to get stuff out the door, but I'll probably write the second part of the interview tonight. Interviewing James was great, and his depth of knowledge about the horror genre was truly frightening (cue drums and cymbal).

I also agree that longer blog posts are fun. Of course, new art is always fun too, and there is more of that on the way as well! Woot!
