Staggered

Please steal, er, borrow Monte Cook's version of staggered.

0 to negative Con Mod - Staggered
-Con Mod to negative Con Score - dying.

It just makes more sense and actually allows the staggered condition to happen from time to time.

I'm not sure I can agree with this. It's like giving the high CON folks a double bonus as they already get more HP per HD .. and now you want to double this by giving them a bonus at the low end as well as the max end?

Just my thoughts ... don't think this will pass for my games.

-1 or con modifier staggered sounds good.
-10 past that for dying sounds better.

No need for this!

As far as I know, PF already sets the death threshold at -con score, which I like.

I tried the alternative staggered range and didn't like it. Too complicated for what you get, if you ask me.

I agree KaeYoss, I like Pathfinder's Death @ -CON as well.

To the OP, I could possibly see Endurance (the Pre-Req for Die-Hard) enabling "Staggered" up to -(Con Bonus, minimum 1) instead of 0 HP. Die-Hard of course then basically allows "Staggered" at ANY Negative HPs short of complete Death. Endurance as a pre-req for Die-Hard otherwise doesn't seem very "worth it" on it's own, IMO, but such a change would be a reasonable upgrade. I've also seen it mentioned that the Half-Orc Racial Ability could also qualify as a Pre-Req for Die-Hard, since it's basically a weaker version of it. Alternatively, if the Endurance->Enhanced Staggered Range change is implemented, the Half-Orc ability COMBINED with Endurance might allow FULL FUNCTIONALITY up to -(Con Bonus, minimum 1)...?
