Gratz!!!

Assuming that is a good thing and irony aside, congratulations.

It's groovy; it's prolly worth 3 bucks, but I'll take what I can get.

My first thought was:
“Americans make coins from quicksilver? How does that work” :-D
Thank good I wiki’d it before I wrote something stupid :-)
So Congratulations

Coins are much more fun over here in Europe since we have the Euro. You get coins from all european countries, always nice to get one you haven’t seen before and figuring out where it came from.

I've been collecting silver change for about 20 years now, and probably have a pound and a half of quarters, dimes, dollars, and half-dollars. You can hear them in a hand full of change, they jingle with a different tone.

I though silver was bad for werewolves?

I've kept a $2 bill and a $1 Silver Certificate in my wallet the last 15 years, not the best place for them but it's an OCD thing.

Just sold a stack of Morgan silver dollars I got from my grandmother waaaay back in the day. Little suckers were worth a cool grand! Not bad for some old change hanging around. Surely helps with the groceries ....

I saved a lot of money that I picked up in Australia. It was terrible going through the airports when you had to empty your pockets. Change all over the place. "Silver" on the left, "Gold" on the right, at least for me. No "paper" currency for $1 and $2 and I think they deliberately gave me all the 50c pieces, which are bigger than the US 50c!

But all aside, it was pretty cool money : )

Yeah; I know the sound. I could hear it as the lady at the register was handing me the change.

Talking about money pouring through your fingers!

One of my favorite old coins. I wanted cuff links made out of the years my mom & dad were born, but the company that makes them won't guarantee certain years. Doofuses.
