As much as I love the 1st edition feel of it, I don't see any real reason for Druids to be this far behind on healing compared with clerics.
Goodberries only go so far you know :)
The biggest reason I can see *not* to change it, is all the great 2nd level Druid spells that would probably get bumped rapidly for Cure Moderate's (healing spell of choice from levels 4-10 in my experience).

I think giving Druids the option to choose the Healing Domain is the best solution.
I know it's not the exact same thing, but allows a Druid to fill the "Party Healer" role if they so wish. The Healing Domain itself could probably be changed a bit to better support that, such as increasing the effect of all Healing - including Goodberries :-)

With Clerics now having Channel Energy as an additional source of healing, is it still necessary to stagger Cure spells one level behind for Druids? Is the game going to break because a Druid can cast Cure Moderate Wounds as a 2nd rather than 3rd level spell?
I couldn't agree more. Give the druids some love.

I like that option. Even with that, having a druid as the party healer is so far behind the cleric, it's like you have to have a cleric, too, anyway.

One thing I thought of:
'Reverting' to a more 3.5-style approach to Domains (bonus domain spells)
would allow Healing Domain Druids to access Healing Spells AT EARLIER LEVELS.
This is true, but it would only get them one copy of each spell at those levels. That may be all they'd need, though. (Unless combined with my Spontaneous Domain suggestion in the other thread.)
