The sewer tiles are sweet! It looks like an acrylic gel was used for the murky water.
Where are they from?
That's what caught my eye too.
Yeah, I'm kinda starting to hate these interns. Their posts are all "look at the special things we get to do...tee-hee!" We paint minis; we play-test unreleased products; we hang with Pierce Watters.
Maybe if I get another blog today, say, another installment of Appendix N, I will forget my hatred...for a time.

Well, don't be too jealous, I don't think they get paid. It's great (work) if you can get it, but you also have to be able to afford it.

Most of those pieces are from Dwarven Forge's Master Maze series, particularly the Cavernous Lake Set and its expansion. However some of the pieces shown appear to be non-water pieces that coloration to represent water has been added to after the fact. Sean, if you are reading this, what did you do here? Did you actually color the pieces or is this some sort of temporary (removable) solution? It looks pretty cool.

Well, yeah, there's pay. But who needed it when they were young?

Nope, no money. Oh well, it's a lot of fun anyway! And hopefully I can assuage your hatred Mairkurion for just a little bit longer, as I'm planning another Appendix N article as I write this. Plus I want to start doing a series about the historical/mythological/fictional roots of monsters and places in Golarion - like the genies! Hopefully you'll like it.

It's true. With each assignment we hand in it's like David and I are handing in another section of our resumes. With any luck, they will decide we are too valuable to allow to leave.
In the meantime, as David said, it is a lot of fun... not that we're trying to rub it in or anything. ;)

Wes told me that I Dream of Jeannie was the primary source of inspiration for Legacy of Fire.

And that's totally my banana bread recipe on the table there in the third picture.

Photoshop!
Well, I don't envy whoever played the gnome and had to use what appears to be a wad of chewing gum as his/her miniature. :-)
Unfinished!

Playing a gnome is always like that when it comes to minis...unless you paint or use a halfling.
KaeYoss wrote:Second Darkness still has the best Adventure Titles. We only know 16% of the Council of Thieves titles, so don't make any assumptions.
I'm not saying they're crap or anything - any title that involves nothosonomia is a guaranteed win in my book! But stuff like The Armageddon Echo is hard to top.

Yeah, but as I indicated, I don't paint. Hopefully, I have a painter in the works. I sure would like a Lini mini.

Would have been handy to have the visual cue during play, since we kept forgetting and attempting to move into or through the squares during combat.
It looks pretty cool
Yes, he's quite the artist, nay? Speaking of which, tonight's miniature painting, woohoo!
| KaeYoss |
I'll have to start painting minis again, too.
Yeah, but as I indicated, I don't paint.
You villain, you hacked into the site and added the "unless you paint" part to your post, and my reply as well!
Either that or I didn't pay attention, but that's crazy talk.
And I'm definetly not crazy.
No, not me.
Me...crazy! THATS THE FUNNIEST THING I HAVE HEARD TODAY!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

You're nuts.
Yeah, prepainted plastic gnome minis are quite rare. It's all due to the rampant gnome hatred wizards has. Failing to make them as cool as they deserve and then saying they're not popular enough - how low is that?

If they were my own DF pieces I would consider marking them, but they're Paizo's.
Or, if I had time, I'd cast some pieces with Hirst Arts for that purpose. :)

Can't you mark them with dry erase markers or somehing - the kind of pens you can also use on battlemats?
DF tiles are generally textured/painted in a way that wouldn't work for dry erase. They're not glossy or smooth for the most part.
I would suggest using string. You cut it to the desired length and squiggle it all over the place to indicate the water line.

Stabilize at -9.
So Hank, your saying that as a DM Sean a softy deep inside ?
I think it had to do more with him not wanting to have to deal with me creating another character just so the story could go on. ;)
I'm hoping our next blog has a little more of us kicking butt, though. I need to bring my dice... I used Sean's, and no matter how much he denies it, I think he has a special hex-PC brand.

Well I for one am enjoying the playtest reports.
Yeah but could they not just put them up in the playtest forum or in the campaign Journal forum like Jason is doing with his? I go to the Blog mainly for the artwork because I happen to like it no artwork makes the blog a lot less useful for me.
