Hey, I made a slight change to the algorithm I used to determine the PCs hit points, so Garai now has a total of 61.
Yes, a whole one point increase. But still, every little bit helps, right?
Bosis wonders how the algorithm is going to effect his hit points. He thinks he feels himself getting stouter, and noisily exhales a confident blast of warm air from his snout, looking quite proud.
Bosis is going to come down with a bad case of some withering disease if he's not careful. :D

Allovin looks pretty close to ready now. Just a couple of points...
1. His hp total is 64
2. I think you need to bump up his AC by one more point, due to small size.
3. I'm not sure about the compatibility of the LG alignment with the service of Cayden Cailean. I for one have never really cared for the LG alignment restriction on paladins, as I feel that the alignment should be reflective of the god served. So, I would encourage you to change it to NG or CG.
Other than that, he looks good.
I meant to ask about the whole alignment thing for Paladins, as everyone seems to handle it a little differently, so thanks for the heads up. I went ahead and shifted his alignment to Neutral Good and corrected his AC.

Douena's combat numbers are up. Please double-check her numbers with the starknife. The character generator gave her a +1 to hit with it in melee, but I don't think it took into account that she's proficient in her deity's favored weapon. (I couldn't get all of it to work quite right, Favored Classes & deity in particular. I'm running Open Office instead of Excel, so that could be why.)
All righty, I'll have a look at Elyria later today, and once she's approved, we should be about ready to start!

All right, lynora, I went over Elysia's sheet. For someone as math challenged as you claim to be, I have to say her numbers crunched very well indeed.
A few comments...
1. Her hp total is 26.
2. Her Will save reads +17, which I'm sure was meant to be +7. I just thought I'd call your attention to the typo.
3. I think her ray attack bonus can be +7, because she does get the extra +1 due to being of small size.
4. She can add the bonus spell Scorching Ray to her 2nd level spells known.
That's all I see. Ability scores, skill points, everything added up fine. Well done.

Hi Archon, just to let you know, I'm in the US next week. It shouldn't affect anything, I'll have full internet access, both in the hotel, and at work as normal (Perks of being the Network Manager... :) ), and I should have plenty of access when I'm hanging around in airports for hours at a time. I'll be on EST for the week though rather than GMT, so you'll notice me posting at weird times.

Actually, it was the +1 size bonus I forgot. That was one of those sets of numbers that the longer I looked at it, the more confused I got.
However, now that I've figured it out, shouldn't she be +12 to attack with her light crossbow due to Weapon Training? +4 BAB +5 Dex +1 size +1 magic +1 Weapon Training = +12, yes?

Let's give it a week before we declare this dead. Life may have just gotten in the way and he hasn't been able to post. Besides, with just having had three PBPs that I was playing in effectively canceled I want to give this one a little time.
My apologies, everyone. Something has come up in my personal life which is going to force me to put this game on hold for the forseeable future. My time and ability to commit to running a game is just not going to be there, unfortunately. I apologize for the time you've spent creating the characters, but I at least wanted to inform you, rather than just disappearing as happens so often. If in the future, my situation changes, I'd still love to run the game, so who knows? But for now, I'm sorry and thanks to each of you for your time and understanding.

Quite possibly, we cal always roll them back again is Archon's personal life gets better (although the ominous phrasing of that post makes me not want to make light of it, it sounded pretty grave, and my thoughts go with him.)...
I certainly want to explore Garai a bit, and this Pharaohs tomb....You make the post, or shall I?
If the five of you were interested in keeping this going, I'd be prepared to take on DMing another PBP - assuming Archon Adept was OK with that anyhow.
I own the module he was going to run, although I havent yet read it, so would need a little while to get started. I am a relative newcomer to PBP, if you want to see the style, the game I am running is the bastion PBP.
Let me know if you'd be interested (if a DM does turn up, I'd rather play of course - but I enjoy DMing as well...)

If she's going to be the only rogue and the only cleric, I should probably recreate her statwise. Or should we advertise for a 6th PC?
Why not advertise for another cleric? Surely we'll find someone. There were several people in Archon's gamer connection thread who expressed an interest.

To be honest, I think it will work fine. There are five PCs instead of the recommended four - I'll beef things up a little, but I dont think you'll suffer if your healer is only part-time. Also, these are pathfinder characters not 3.5 characters, so they're already a bit "improved" - even a part-time cleric can do some serious healing with the new channelling rules.
That said, if you wanted to amend Douena that would be fine, of course.
My preference would be to remain with five PCs and to recruit replacements if people need to drop out. In the other game I am running there are seven (I allowed in some extra PCs in case people pulled out) and consequently there are times when the game goes much slower as a consequence - especially balancing the "everyone gets a say" goal with the "make sure decisions get made" goal.
I considered switching her to a cleric 3/rogue 3 for access to Cure Moderate and Lesser Restoration and the extra d6 of channeling, but if the DM thinks it's all right, I think I'll leave her as she is and just take a level of cleric next (assuming I survive long enough to level up!) It's just easier than switching everything around.

OK - I've had my first skim through of the adventure and it looks like it should be fun. However I have had some bad news today (only temporary and I promise not indicative of my reliability...)
My wife and I are having a week's holiday starting this weekend - I had expected my posting would be uninterrupted, however we are going to an extremely remote town in the Australian outback - where we are staying has no internet connection (not even dialup :/).
What that means is that I'm still keen to run this PBP but I wont be able to make the first post until Sunday 1st March (next week). After that, I will be checking the thread at least twice a day and there should be no hiccups into the future. Hopefully everyone is happy to wait for one more week..?
Sounds like your vacation is at the same time as mine. I'll have internet access, but not nearly as much time on the computer as I do at home, so I'm actually happy to put it off until after that.
