Yesterday, at the beginning of the party (Escape from Old korvosa) told me that playing a paladin didn't suit him well and wish to change of class. They met the red mantis in Vencarlo's house, defeated them and for the moment they spendt a night in Olmere Bliversin and at the morning, he decided to quit the party.
Now, he wishes to play a monk, but in Korvosa, it seems difficult to find some monks, so the idea, I have, is to make him play a monk coming from Vudran, following Irori pathway.Perhaps, can he be here since one month, coming in a Arkona's boat from Vudran as a bodyguard of Vimanda.
What do you think about that?
But the question I wish to know is:
Laori will be meet once again in the story (during the 3 last books) or Does she only meet during "Escape from old korvosa"? Because the idea was to replace Laori by this new PC but I need a reason to make him be in Salvator's house?
Thanks!

Laori plays a fairly important role in the 5th adventure, Skeletons of Scarwall. Replacing Laori with a PC will force you to make some key changes to that adventure, and I personally wouldn't do it.
As for a monk in Korvosa, maybe you could play him as a highly skilled boxer or the like. That's a suggestion for monks in the Second Darkness AP; a pugilist who lacks the mysticism of the monk, but hits just as hard.

Thanks a lot, because I don't even read the end of CoCT, so Laori will be present in my adventure.
For the suggestion for the monk, in which book can I find this suggestions and description? Which book and pages? Thanks!

They give suggestions for monk player characters in "Pathfinder: Curse of the Crimson Throne Player's Guide", and talk about native boxer-style monks in "Pathfinder Companion: Second Darkness". There's nothing in the way of game mechanic stuff. In the CotCT Player's Guide, they suggest a visiting monk from Vudra or Tian Xa (which sounds like your idea), and in the SD Companion, they suggest the possibility of native boxers and gladiators who fight like monks. Hope that helps.
