Uzes won't be able to move at all this round then? I've never actually run into this, but if the things you're basing a readied action on never happen, are you able to change it at a certain point or do you not act any further that round?
edit
Never mind, I just double-checked the map. I can't get an angle on that throw to change the targeted square anyway. Curse my 20ft. movement!

Take it easy this weekend!
Guys, I just want to be sure about this. Is Zindit's "speakinglikethiswhenshe'sexcited" a problem? I can tone it down if it's a headache to read. Maybe hyphens between the words would work better.
Not at all. I think it suits her quite well!

Now it is time for the weekly profitability check. Saul (or whoever is running the Gold Goblin) must make an appropriate skill check to determine the week's profits, applying the Gold Goblin's current profit rating as a modifier. The initial profit rating of the Gold Goblin is -1, which is slightly unprofitable. A DC of 20 is required to raise the rating by 1 point, and failing by 5 or more lowers it by 1 point. Saul's Profession (gambling) bonus is +6 and the total of your modifiers for the week is +4.
So does someone want to roll a 1d20+9 profitability check?
Let me know if you want to conduct any other business (besides Tessirda's business with St. Casperian's Mission) before I progress into the second week.
Terra, let me know if you want me to make a side thread.
I also want to add: thanks for sticking with me guys. I think we are now the longest-running Second Darkness thread on the board.

Rimrock, how do you want to handle the loot? Can we just assume we identify everything, sell the non-magical items and divide it up? Or would you rather we roleplay it all out?
I don't think you need to roleplay it out. I think you should make rolls to identify the magic stuff (pr perception for the potions), but it can all be done OOC.
Terra, spoilering it in the main thread is a good idea, lets do that. Post when you are able.

I decided to stick with Zavos being an Optimistic Gambler, and roll for hp.
hit points for 2nd level (1d8=8)
And it paid off.
That gives him 20hp at 2nd level. Not bad for a bard.

Looks good to me. How much down time can we assume to have had? I'd like to have Amunyet scribe a few scrolls, maybe improve her armor. I sell her chain mail and shield for half what I paid, right?
EDIT: gonna buy a suit of banded mail and a heavy steel shield; can I assume she did that before we started the latest trek to Smeed's?

Rimrock:
I've been updating Amunyet to the PFRPG core, and there's one point I'm a little stuck on. First, I swapped out the Selective Channeling feat for Armor Proficiency (Heavy); not a big deal since I only used the selective channeling a couple times in the past, whereas suspension of disbelief would take a hit for me if I "magically" went back to wearing chainmail. However, one problem is with my scimitar - to keep proficiency, I'd have to swap out scribe scroll, which I've used extensively. If I swap it out, what happens to the scrolls I've already made? Can we just say that Amunyet still "knows" how to do it, but I won't make any more until I reach 3rd level (where I'll take it again)?
