In the Pathfinder Beta, it says that a cleric can use spontaneous casting with any prepared spell that is not an orison. However, in 3.5, you could not use spontaneous casting with domain spells. Since a Pathfinder cleric gets multiple uses of their 1st-level domain spells, it would give them a major boost if they were allowed to use them for spontaneous casting. Was this an intentional change or an oversight?
This seems like neither. The spells that are able to be changed spontaneously are ones that are in the normal spell slots for the cleric. However, the domain abilities are not in the normal spell slots, instead having uses/day on their own, and are also spell-like abilities. Although the beta references bonus spells, there don't seem to be any.

This confused me too. In some places the domain spells are described as bonus spells, in other places as spell-like abilities. This needs to be clarified, because it affects the gameplay both in terms of spontaneous casting and also in the use of metamagic feats.

I have brought up this issue before in this thread but unfortunately there was no official response to this question yet. I still have hope that it gets cleared up before the final, because as written it really makes no sense.
