Shifter (PRC) Druid

Classes: Cleric, Druid, and Paladin

I was taking a close look at the druids today, and at the varios Yada Shape spells, and I remembered about some 3.0 feats that allowed the druid to Transform into another types of creatures. I think it was on Masters of the Wild. Besides, in the same book there was the Shifter prestige class.

Maybe there could be a prestige class the built upon this idea? Or maybe even better, some high level feats that allowes more options to wild shape? There are many players who love Transformers Druids, me included, and while I thank god for the less powerfull PF wildshape, I would love players having the option of having more options, much like the idea of feats that expand the list of animal companions / sacred mounts.

Opinions?

heh I seen this and thought were touched master....that might be a good fit with a little flavor change.

The Shifter PRC in Masters Of The Wild was deemed broken and was replaced by the Master Of Many Forms in the Complete Adventurer book. Alas, this PRC was also broken in its own special way, and you were still better off going with straight Druid progression because of their awesome spells.

Okay, sub-optimal Monster Rancher's monster with strange licking ability that takes guts out of the opponents, I never used any of the prcs one way or the other.

But then, you mentioned nothing about you opinions about feats that enabled more wildshape options.

But your post made me think: If they were broken, there's certainly a good point for the designers to create a Transformers' DShapechanger Druid prc. You know, this concept is so much alive on the ind of the players.
