I am a DM and player who enjoys his digital laptop as an accesory to his tabletop gaming. I know rpgexplorer is doing stuff( am not a fan ) but I saw that HeroLab is gonna support Pathfinder materal, and was wondering when your version of an OGL is gonna be released for them to use. Also, some of us twinkies on the DMGenie have been tryig to convert for Pathfinder, in case anyone wants to assist.

All of the Pathfinder RPG mechanics are going to be released under the OGL so anyone can write digital tools for it and using the Pathfinder rules as soon as the final version is released. PCGen is also working on the Pathfinder Ruleset. I see a ton of free or reasonably cheap third party tools coming for Pathfinder shortly after it's release.

Paizo has asked that no official support be released by 3pps until the final rules are out in August. Even then, the copyright on the name Pathfinder will require that developers enter a license with Paizo to express compatibility (this is also a stipulation of the OGL), but at that time, I imagine a lot of support from all the major digital game aids. It's exciting.
