Curse of the Crimson Throne

If imps have DR5/magic, how do the pseudodragons keep their population in check when at most they can cause 1-2 pts of damage?

A number of solutions have been proposed to this by members of the community, but the official errata is that all pseudodragons native to Korvosa get a bonus feat called Imp Slayer, which, due to generations of fighting imps and sharpening their claws and teeths on silver, their natural attacks count as silver for the purpose of overcoming DR. (An Imp’s DR is overcome by silver or good, not magic).

Another option is to make them swarms/mobs of pseudodragons. They hunt all together in gangs and rip the imps apart.
