So it all starts last week while I was traveling. I got a message telling me that unfortunately that funding isn't available to do my graduate studies in England. So I came home defended my thesis today got back the responses and I am now officially Jeremy Mcgillan M. Sc. Psychology.
And to make it better my professor (old very british gentleman) told me he had a word with a colleague of his back at Oxford and said that he will be able to take on a Ph D student fall 2011 full funding and that I was guaranteed the position (later confirmed by email). O yeah and in the mean time I just got signed a 2 and half year contract to be the resident psychopharmacologist at the health science centre here in town 45k a year. So in conclusion to all those who made fun of me and said I couldn't do it (despite the fact they will never see this) SUCK IT B&!!$ES.

Congratulations. I had an offer to study under the Oxford chair for history and if I had been single I would have taken him up on it. However, with a wife and five kids I can't uproot them and move to England. As much as I would love to do it, I had to put it off.
