So upon looking at the sample Chronicle...it seems like it only covers items. This might be in part because that is all folks who are now coming out of LG think of tracking (no offense intended) or because folks have never thought about things other than items being awarded/found in adventures and being constant from adventure to adventure.
What if during an adventure a PC earns the enmity of Lord Paizgraf and henceforth all CHA based skill checks in that city suffer a -2 penalty?
What if during an adventure a PC gets stuck with the Fortune Spurned template?
What if during an adventure a PC pledges service to Lord Bolger the Proud who might offer a host of minor skill check enhancements, access to items and NPCs, and the honor of wearing their Lord's livery?
What if during an adventure a PC acquires a broken item that may not be worth anything at the time, but later proves to be cursed/cool but only after doing something in some later adventure?
What if during an adventure a PC is cursed or blessed?
The Chronicle covers buying and selling items. What about losing and breaking items? Maybe folks who have used these types of "logs" can provide me with a clue as to how this might be handled.
What about things that don't happen during an adventure -- perhaps a PC acquires something from some meta-gaming activity?
I assure you I could easily continue with the list of things PCs could possibly "get" out of an adventure without touching on items.
Now, of course, the points I bring up could be entirely superfluous -- the Pathfinder Society adventure/scenario writers may never craft an adventure that features rewards other than items (or the buying and selling of items). I think that would be a shame.
I probably spent more than my 2 cents.
