Cancel Pathfinder Subscription

Customer Service

I would like to cancel my Pathfinder subscription after receiving issue # 12. If I have any remaining credit from my Dungeon/ Dragon subscriptions please let me know. There are a few things I'd like to pick up at the Paizo store.

I hope things get worked out so you guys can start publishing some 4e stuff. I don't care if it's called Pathfinder, Streetfinder, or whatever. I just want to see some 4e Paizo material!

Good luck with whatever path you guys (and gals) take.

Ronin,

Having looked at the numbers, I think you might want to revisit your decision.

When we converted magazine subscriptions to Pathfinder, we did a pretty generous conversion rate, and we rounded up at the end. The upshot of all this is that if you let your conversion finish up, you'd get Pathfinder 13 and the free Pathfinder Companion... but the store credit value remaining on the subscription is only $2. (If I were in your shoes, I'd take the books!)

Please let me know if you'd prefer to have us finish out the subscription, or credit you the $2. I've put your subscription on hold (it will appear cancelled to you) until you confirm your decision.

You've convinced me. I'll stick with the last issue of Pathfinder. I am also going to hold off on canceling my Pathfinder subscription as well. Maybe you should look into a sales position...

Awesome! I've set everything back to the way it was! (It would be sad to have you lose that Charter tag!)

Yeah, it basically says you were cool enough to order Pathfinder modules before anyone had seen them - respect for the Paizo supporters from the Dungeon/Dragon magazines.

Yeah. It is reserved for those subscribers who committed to Pathfinder before issue 1 shipped. For taking a leap of faith on it, sight unseen, the kind folks at Paizo have rewarded those subscribers with an extra word in their title to make them feel superior to all others with lesser tags and cause all types of jealousy and accusations of elitism.

Spoiler:
Did I say "them?" I meant "us."

(edited for clarity)

Ohhh, Sharoth. If my calculations are about correct, a meteor which I had the foresight to just nudge off course last week for precisely this incident should be about to.... WHOOOOMPH!!!

<dusts off hands, and observes the smoking smear (at the bottom of a crater) of what might once have been a dragon>

Well that was a flaming in a matter of speaking; too bad it was only one of Sharoth's many clones/simulacra, but that certainly relieved my immediate sense of irritation.

That's okay. I lost my "contributor" tag when the print mags got cancelled.....(justifiably so...I wasn't a contributor any longer. I was ancient history....I was the lining at the bottom of a roc bird cage...I was the Gorgon's kitty litter...I was.....oh, nevermind).

I have not read any of the Pathfinder monthlies yet. They are my insurance. They are my lifeline. I know that whenever I need them, I have two full campaigns written by my favorite authors and published by my favorite game company ready to go!

So, even if you don't plan on playing any of the Pathfinder campaigns any time soon, keep subscribing, because some day, in your darkest moment, when all traditional RPGs are in the dustbin of history and you want to show your great grandkids what it was "really" like to play a role-playing game, you can pull out your pristine Pathfinder collection and breathe new life, bring a new dawn into the gaming void of the future!

Yeah, baby!!!!!

Dark Archive

I canceled my subscriptions for a month or so when it seemed that baby expenses and responsibilities wouldn't allow the respective money and time to continue gaming for awhile.

Now I be a simple (and happy) Subscriber, too, sans "Charter."
